Can you buy virtual console games from the Wii on the wii u , debating about getting one I don't have a wii, but i'm really interested in the older games like mario 64 n stuff. Thank you for any answers.

I have not seen wii vc games on the eshop.

so you can't turn the wii U into just the old Wii mode and the VC pops up there? there is only the eshop than?

Or use emulators, i haven't really found vc games to be all that good.

You can do exactly that. If you go into Wii mode, you can access the old Wii shop as you would have on an original Wii. In fact, I transferred my Wii settings over, which included some Wii Shop points, and as far as I can tell those points can only be used in the Wii Shop and do not appear in the new Wii U eShop..so you can't turn the wii U into just the old Wii mode and the VC pops up there?
