So I ordered online from gamestop the day after they opened preorders. I still have my Wii U sitting in the warehouse, according to a woman I talked to over the phone from gamestop. I requested standard 10 day shipping. But I still haven't got a tracking number or any kind of confirmation that it's been shipped or anything. Part of the problem was that the credit card company declined the charge of the Wii U to the card for fear of fraudulent charges. It got straightened out.. but I only got it straightened out on Friday.

Bottom line is.. when should I be expecting the wii u to be shipped?

It takes a long ass time for there econmy shipping I chose 1 day mine is coming today . You should have yours probably at the end of next week earliest.

Congrats on your pick up take your time setting your system up and turn the auto shutoff feature before updating and all should be well.

See this is why it's best to go to an actual shop to get one, all sorts of things can go wrong with diliverys, plus you never know if it's been dropped or mistreated.

I only do instore preorder.
A dude got messed over at bestbuy.
Preorder the system and they charged his card 2times first wk of nov. The bank held the payment. Then he called and got it work out. Cool. Next wk fell days before launch. Theu emailed him saying order canceld. They charged him again which the bank held payment and he was mad.
Called bank and best buy on 3way. Got it all worked out. But the nestbuy told him he couldnt get one because its to late and there system is close. So he doesnt get a wii u.

Now the rule of that is always go to gamestop and not these places that only charge you when it ships or on release date.

And yea if you pick 10day shipping it could sit there for a few days then ship out with 3-4day shipping. Normally 10day shipping means they dont rush your order, they take time with it.

But on a side note i pick mines up from gamestop. Had it paid in full back in oct. And was 1st @ the.store to get one.

Yeah, the problem is that they charged the card in full, so I'm stuck waiting for the shipment. It's no biggie to wait, since it'll be a Christmas gift, but just thought I'd see what your guys' thoughts were on how long it would take.

EDIT: Never mind just got an email from gamestop with a tracking number and order confirmation. All set to have it for Christmas

Gamestop.com charged me wednesday for my wiiu and it shipped friday but no delivery on weekends so Its coming today not bad at all did not have to wait in a line or none of that and waste gas.

I tell people this all the time when people preorder and want a day 1 release, especially with electronics, but people don't listen.

I live in Kodiak, AK...we only have several flights a day into the airport..FEDEX, UPS and USPS all contract Alaska AIr or ERA to deliver mail/parcel. I had thought about preordering online, b ut then I remembered I was am in Alaska...you can get two day shipping, but it always takes a week usually. I was fortunatel enough that the walmart here in Kodiak you could reserve it. Not even expecting it to come on launch day, I decided to go and checkk just for craps and giggles...I was suprised there it was on the shelves....so iwent to the layaway and paid it off and drove home....not even having to stand in any lines....Cna i say I was lucky or what!!!
