Has anyone had problems setting up their gamepad as a remote for your tv? I was able to do so for my cable box, but not for my tv. I have a Dynex, and while that is one of the supported brands, it doesn't work and I just get the generic error after I say it didn't work 5 times.

I realize my first problem is that I have a Dynex lol. I was looking forward to this feature though, especially once TVii drops. Has anyone heard anything about Nintendo supporting more TVs with a future update or anything like that? Is it possible I could find a different brand tv in the list that might work for me?

It would be awesome if you could use the gamepad to control multiple devices...I want to be able to connect my wii u to my a/v receiver for surround sound...so it woud be cool to be able to control the tv and my a/v receiver, anyone know if you can?

If you search your make and model online for the code used in one of those one4all remotes, you might be able to find out if the code it uses matches another make/model and select that.
I'm not a fan of make/model style lists for these things, having had cheap tv's in the past.
