Although people have said the GamePad screen looks fine and runs the game well, do you think there's a possibility of an upgrade down the line?
I'm buying this on day one, but in 3 or 4 years do we really want a resistive non-HD screen?
Surely if Nintendo wants to keep the momentum a HD Gamepad in a couple of years when Capacative HD screens are even cheaper they need one, don't they?

The only way it could be updated is through brand new hardware, which is very unlikly I think, you never know though.

Resistive is more accurate and works with a stylus better. Doesn't need HD because its so small. Nintendo's next console will probably launch no later than 2018/9

I might be picky but my phone is 3.5 inch, and I don't think I could use it if it wasn't HD. I'd rather have more uses, than how well it works with a stylus.
Although, personally, I don't think I'll be using the Gamepad for 6 years I'll probably go towards a pro controller mostly.

Of course it's totally personal opinion, but I personally think it's pointless to judge until you've tried it. Personally I will be using the pro controller only for local multiplayer, I think the gamepad is way too comfortable to replace with the pro controller. In my opinion it's just superior in every way. As for your ability to see the resolution on your 3.5 inch phone screen, you are quite extra ordinary as most people simply can't so you can understand why nintendo didn't spend extra money making it HD since the average person can't see it.

I'd love to know when I've judged it but nevermind.
I do know why they've done it. And for me being odd for spotting the difference in resolution what if the iPhone wasn't HD? Would it just be a few able to tell the difference.
I'm not saying the screen will make it a bad point, but in the future?
