I absolutely love these films. Howl's Moving Castle is great but Spirited Away is by far my favourite. I've watched that one literally a hundred times but it never gets old. Thanks for reminding me that I need to see Ponyo

I started with Spirited Away, and then I watched Totoro, and then Kiki's Delivery Service. I believe Ghibli has the potential to become the next Pixar.

I haven't seen Kiki's delivery service *adds to ever growing list*
Yeah, I agree but Pixar and Ghibli are both so different that I can't even really compare them. They are both great in different ways.

I've only seen spirited away and Howl's Moving Castle, both were great though.

I remember seeing part of Spirited Away a few years ago, and I found it really interesting, although I'd missed the first half so it didn't make much sense to me. I'll try and watch the whole film next time it's on TV.

Oh my god, yes. Hayao Miyazaki's films are gorgeous and are so wonderfully plotted. My top three would have to be Nausicaa of The Valley of The Wind, Howl's Moving Castle, and Princess Mononoke. And Spirited Away's incredible, too. Since all of the Ghibli films are so great, my favourites tend to not really have much of a difference between liking which on better or such. I tend to like them all equally. xD
