Both Wii U Go and the Wii U Blog reported on the rumours that Emily Rogers gave as well as quite a few other sites. She was gained lots of notice for it and caused lots of discussions.
But now we know quite a lot of things about the Wii U now, looking back do you think that she really did have a source in Nintendo marketing?
I was convinced she had a source until someone posted something interesting about the site she was using to write with which said you get money from people clicking on ads and what better way to get loads of views than to post interesting Wii U news?

Emily Rogers. A blogger that claimed to have reliable inside sources that fed her lots of information about Project Cafe (which we now know as the Wii U). Here is a link to everything Ruthie and I have written about her "leaks" on Wii U Go.
Oh, the memories. In retrospect, seeing how things have turned out, I think she was a fake. The pieces of the puzzle just fit together too perfectly - the writing is published on a grey-zone site that pays for views, the writing itself spins a luring story about sleeping with a guy who works at Nintendo, and the "information" contained within the writing sounds logical, but leaves lots of room for discussion, doubting, and flaming. That boosts views to her articles, which boosts the cheque she gets from Triond for her fabricated stories.

I'm saying fake. As far as I'm aware, most of her rumours weren't confirmed at E3 and a lot of the things she said sounded fishy at the time. Having heard more about the site she published her articles on, I'm 90% sure that she was a fake. She also said that she wouldn't post again until all of her rumours are proven true, so I don't think we'll hear from her anytime soon.

Well, at least one of her rumours was sorta true. Pikmin 3 was confirmed.

I voted not sure, it's true that there is something a bit sneaky about posting using Triond. I mean if she was so sincere and all she wanted to do was spread Wii U news then why didn't she set up a Wordpress or a Blogspot.?

No, just some of her news was fake, when Nintendo unveiled the Wii U. Some things that she said aren't still confirmed yet because we don't know everything about the Wii U.
