Just wondering how wii games look via hdmi on the wii u? Much improvement?
As the wii output is now digital the television can now upscale much easier without any loss of information and wondered if this resulted in any improved interpolation of the wii's visuals. Many original xbox games on 360 were nicely upscaled and did look quite improved. I was just wondering if the wii u did anything similar.
If you do reply can you also mention the tv set used.
I'm especially interested in twilight princess which frankly looked dire on my wii and hdtv via component.

Cant say, since i havent played a wii game on it yet. I can check it out later tho.
But i did launch the wii emu and it looks like the graphic took a hit.
So upscaling may not be the best thing. You gotta think of it like this.
If you zoom in really far on a small picture it just looks bad.
Same thing with upscaling something. The bigger you gotta go the worse it will look.

The wii u does have a hardware upscaler more sophisticated than that of the 360. From what I understand all wii u and wii games can be upscaled all the way to 1080p. I just wondered if it had much impact on aliasing etc?
