Good evening all.  I was lucky enough to get a Wii U on release night without pre-ordering one.  I bought it for my 2 sons for X-mas but I will probably play it more.  I did unbox, update, and played Sonic racing just to ensure it worked properly.  I am really looking forward to Zelda, SSB, Mario Kart and a new Mario game in the future.  So far my impression with the Wii U is great but I only have around 1.5 hours of play time to go off of.

Welcome to the forum. I too think its a great system with huge potential. Hope you enjoy the wii u with your two sons...you should have a lot of fun. The new mario is a great game. I am in a remote area of Alaska that our game selection is very limited...hoping they get more games in soon....lol

Well hello there, I'm a older gamer too, maybe we should play together some time. I get my Wii U in two days time. I'm pretty keen to try Wii U video chat and see if it's got auto focus? I'm very happy a Dad like you has adopted the Wii U for entertainment. cya
