I am also a die hard nintendo fan...ever since 1985 with the NES...the only console that I didnt like was the Gamecube..although I did own it. Gamecube kind of warded me off of the whole console gaming since I really didnt even care of the playstation or the x box. So I went with PC gaming and got bit by the World of Warcraft bug. Well the Wii kind of brought me back to nintendo as I thought it was a huge success that kept Nintendo alive. I was actually really excited about the wii u...and even though there have been negative comments..I think that as time wears on its all going to be great. I have had a few minor glitches nothing to complain about though. New technology is always going have flaws for a time being...but I truly believe that Nintendo is a great company that cares about its fan base...and will fix all issues very soon. I would get it one!! Its a great system with huge potential.

... Elliot, or "Starfighter." I am a longtime Nintendo fan who never bought the Wii but played it extensively anyhow with friends, family, and co-workers (my office was relentless with Wii themed activities centered around bowling and home run derby). I am on the fence about the Wii U. I was really wanting to fall in love with it but all of the negativity, warranted or not, has put a damper on my excitement. I am signing up here to learn more about the system and see if its something worth buying. I am also looking forward to meeting some interesting gamers. Some of my favorite console games include Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Tekken, and Donkey Kong. Cheers!
I have watched a lot of videos of gameplay of Wii U from die hard nintendo fans. I am not going to speak negativity as thats forbidden in these forums. What I will say that just like Ps3 and xbox the Wii U matches screen loading screens between maps in games and I'm sure later on with a system updates loading screens will be faster then the others because lest face it Wii U musle is very powerful indeed.
