So i decided to purchase a game from the eshop since I got a couple eshop cards as gifts......geez big mistake! Should've just sold the eshop cards to someone hehe! I mean I love my wii u and all, no problems whatsoever, but 20 hours for a game download? I have a verizon fios, and no way should a 20gb download take 20 hours!! lesson learned.

Maybe it was due to all the peeps crowding on the Wii U all at once in the virtual hypothetical space? I'm interested in seeing if this problem exists for myself... Anyone else with these issues?

Dude my AC 3 download took like 8 hours on my PS3 with my Comcast internet. That one was like 7 GIGS, so that is not surprising if the servers were slammed.
Currently playing: AC 3, ZombiU, BLOPS 2, Nintendoland, NSMBU, Nano Assault Neo, Halo 4, Darksiders 2, and Far Cry 3

Doesnt matter what your download speed is. If there upload speed to you is slower then yours.
So its just a sever problem. I had cod bo2 on the ps cut in and out badly. Also been downloading a demo on the psn and have it go very slow. Then i wait a day after the rush and it download fast.
Also nintendo is new to this downloadable games that are in the upper 10gb.
