How much have you gotten for trade-in value? Now that the a lot of us have Wii Us, there's very little reason to hold on to our Wiis. I called up Gamestop about ten minutes ago and they told me they were currently giving $20 cash or $25 store credit as trade-in value. I remember reading somewhere online that someone got $50, but I don't remember where it was. I'm just wondering as I'm hoping to get NSMBU. I already spent more than enough money this month however.

I got 50 because of double trade-in credit on black friday. You'd get 25 if you tried to do it now.

I wasn't aware of that. Ouch. I guess I'm out of luck then.

I'm keeping my Wii forever. In fact I still have my N64 from back in the day. I would also still have my GC if my cousins didn't steal it and then sell it. -_- but I also have SNES and a NES.

Lol I sorta think you'd have more luck selling it on Craigslist. They sell for $80 used so maybe you can sell it for $70.

I'm just guessing but I don't think Wii's are worth too much now, the prices have been declining for years I'm guessing the Wii U hasn't helped, I'm not bothered though, Wii U plays Wii games soooooooooooooooooo.................................................................................

It wasn't worth it to me. I would spend as much as I would get for a new controller since you have to give those back too, and you still need them for the Wii U. I did, however, get $100 trade in toward my Wii U basic from Best Buy as I had an older non HDMI Xbox360 not being used, so walked out of BB for about $200 before tax.

I traded mine in back in August and got £50 for it which is actually impressive. There are some Wii games i still need to buy though, Metroid Other M, Donkey Kong Country returns and Mario Galaxy 2, unfortunately i never got a chance to play these games before.
