What the title says, I mean a brand new RPG series, not Paper Mario and all that. Just something new with an interesting story that could even surpass Final Fantasy, I would be playing it all day if they did so, but I think they will

Sadly, those games aren't coming to the USA anytime soon, but at least the European fans will get them.

Yeah, you might as well mod your Wii and import it because The Last Story is the closest you'll ever get to a Final Fantasy style epic this gen.

I am likely to mod my Wii to play the games, The Last Story and Xenoblade are games I won't skip due to their region. I wonder if the Wii U will be region locked as well?

I believe it will since the 3ds is region locked. I have a modded wii so i will play those games, but other people will miss out on these games.

You mean something completely new? Like Mario was 25-26 years ago? I think it would be 'interesting' if they made something completely new IMO.

They could do it if the support is there. That is the reason why the big 3 isn't on the Wii cause other in its genre wasn't supported well enough. Only Monster Hunter Tri was really supported by fans. Nintendo is watching how other games fared and that is how they make a decision. If it will sell at least 200,000 copies then Nintendo could make an original RPG.

Just mod your Wii and get Xenoblade/Pandora's Tower/Last Story. Most of the time it's cheaper to import from Europe anyway.

I know it's just coincidence, but it's really damn awkward to mod Wii's in Europe now, I think the only way to mod it is through the Twilight Princess hack, so it's really convenient for Europeans.

I thought Pandora's Tower was going to be their major RPG series start on the Wii maybe have a Pandora's Tower 2 on the Wii U, spinoffs on the 3DS etc, but with all this talk of the game not coming to America I'm not sure.

It would be great if they could come out with something to rival Final Fantasy.

About Pandora's Tower, Xenoblade, and Last Story , I was thinking, what if they just remade them for the Wii U. With better graphics and more features etc. This time make it available everywhere. I bet tons of people would buy them. I know I would.
