I just put in my Warriors Orochi 3 hyper disc and the picture has come up, but won't proceed any further, is this what the console is going to consist of?
Un-needed crashes, I'm absolutely fuming!

My Wii U cannot load a disc, I am fed up with this crap now!

try troubleshooting as I suggested above before flying of your face.

Excuse me?
I've been having problems with this console now for 24 hours, Nintendo directed me to buy two wrong hard drives, I rung them and asked them what model, I bought the first one was too slow, bought the second and it barely works.
The console has crashed over 15 times and now it won't load discs, I have every right to moan!

I'm taking Warriors Orochi 3 hyper back to the shop, buying it off the store and playing it like that.
I'll give nintendo the benefit of the doubt for now, they said the system will be running slow till next week when they update it and it's not that the system says it can't run the disc, it's just never loading up, like yesterday how it couldn't load menus.
If by next week when the update comes I still can't play discs, I'll send it back!
Tekken works fine on my hard drive so going to play that until tomorrow when my wo3 is downloaded, seeing as my internet is a piece of **** at my partners uni house!

In the OP's defence, if you paid that much for something what crashes and won't load a disc you'd be fine? Sorry I wouldn't pay £250 to use the web browser or miiverse

@MyNameIsMatt Exactly, his console is clearly working well which is why he has no understanding.
Nice!

I was having the same issues here in the US with my Wii U freezing it might not be a hardware issue but actually the network that causing all your problems. Check your mii verse and see if anyone else is expereincing the same problem or as always yell at ninty >:0

Is there any way I can tell if it's the disc reader that's broke or just the network being slow?
When I put the disc in the wii u is a bit loud, I click the game and the warriors orochi 3 hyper pictures pops up on the screen and gamepad, the disc loads in the console for about 2 seconds and then nothing.
The blue light is stable and my external hard drive is not flashing either...

A white light should come on when a disc is inserted.
