Some say Nintendo is for the younger gamer with the Wii U do we see an increase in older gamers? Where do you fall?

I am 21 and been with Nintendo for as long as I can remember. Have had all the Sony consoles too, but I love Nintendo. I see them trying to get the older market back and that is good. But this launch with the Wii U is really lacking. It will probably get better. I just hope that they don't over focus on online and multiplayer for most of their games. Because Mario U and Nintendo Land are pretty much only based on that and it's unenjoyable single playing, at least for me. I need my full single player adventures too. I am sure we will get them, but very few of them. And if that's how things go I may stop buying the consoles and focus on only portables.

24. Will be 25 in March.

My earliest memory of gaming was Maze Hunter for the Sega Master System, along with Super Mario Land for Gameboy and Disney's Aladdin for the Sega Genesis. I tell you, the 90s was the best gaming era. There was no casual vs hardcore, or CPU this and GPU that. It was just straight gaming and I wish that it stayed that way.

Sorry for the rambling. Just shedding tears in my nostalgia. T_T

I'm 15. Been with Nintendo on the console market since the Wii (was almost exclusively Play Station before hand, not because I was a fanboy, It was just the only brand I ever knew enough about to feel like buying), and have pretty much always been with them exclusively on the handheld market.

I'm 17. Been with Nintendo for the longest time, and dabbled in Sony/PC/Sega Systems for awhile. PC games were fun once in awhile, but I mostly played Nintendo games when I had the chance. Sony/Sega systems were fun, but never left the lasting enjoyment that most Nintendo games gave me.

As of now, I am the happy owner of just about all Nintendo home consoles from the NES onward, a decent enough gaming PC, 3DS, and a PS3. While my PS3 does get a lot of love from me nowadays, I'll most certainly still play, buy, and enjoy the newest Ninty game.

This was much more long and involved than I thought I would make it. :P

Im 29, Will admit that ive been with playstation mostly for as long as ps1 and up, little xbox inbetween here and there, tried the wii and it was ok, but wasnt enough. Now days though im really feeling burned out on playstation and microsoft and picked myself up a Wii U a couple days ago, Im very happy with it and i think it gives me more of the gaming experience that the other guys are failing to deliver with.

I turned 13 in August. This was my first gaming generation. I started with a black DS Lite, then a Wii, DSi, and now a blue 3DS XL. Me and my family will definitely be sticking with Nintendo, but I will be trying to get a Vita for some different gaming experiences.

Some people always have a cellphone on them. I'm so awesome I always have a 3DS.

I'm 15. I got my GameBoy Advance SP on Christmas in 2003, along with Pokémon Sapphire, I believe. (That means some of my Pokémon are 10 years old, like BLAZ'N, my level 100 Blaziken)Since then, I've come to love Nintendo. Since then, I've gotten a GameCube and Nintendo DS Lite, and I've got a 3DS now, which is awesome, and am looking forward to getting a Wii U.  My first handheld was blue, and my first home console was black. That's how it seems it will be this time around as well. (Blue 3DS nad hopefully black Wii U)
