Hey.

just wondering if one can use the ethernet adapter from the WII on the WII U ?

My WII U is located in the basement and wireless router is located on the second floor so the signal is week down in the basement, so wanted to use a cablet connection down there.

The console itself even tells you this, look for a connection, look in the top left of the upad to see the button you have to press to set up a manual connection and see the wired option.

Because this is meant for the main TV in the house and a lot of people like the keep the wires to a minimum.

Its hardly the worst thing in the world having to plug in a small USB adapter. Or at least it wouldn't be, if it worked properly, which so far mine hasn't.
