So you could level up your own characters when you're playing, instead of just leveling up whoever is signed in. Think 360, where you can have people signed into different gamertags.

That's the question this thread is asking. You can have separate Nintendo IDs on the Wii U, yes - BUT you can only sign into one at a time. So if my son wanted to level up his sonic, but I'm signed into my Nintendo ID, there's no way for him to sign into his Nintendo ID as well. Unlike the 360.

Hmmm, it might be game specific. Apparently Black Ops II allows two ID sign ins.

And while I hate to say this because I love this forum and all my homeboys and homegirls that visit it, you could always try Miiverse.
