(Keep in mind, I am reviewing the Premium Wii U.)

Hello there. I got my Wii U on Friday. I was really excited. I can't help but notice how small the box felt. It was a tiny bit heavy but the box wasn't as big as I thought it would be.
That's not important anyway. I opened it all up and also noticed that the GamePad is MASSIVE! I think it's a bit too big that it's annoying when you're standing up and need to touch the touchscreen. I usually just lift my knee up and place the GamePad (holding it still, I don't want to drop it!) and touch the screen. Another thing I noticed is that the GamePad feels so comfortable. It's a dream to hold! Apart from that, I haven't got anything else to say about the GamePad.
Next up, the console itself! People said that the console is a real finger print magnet. I actually had no problems with finger-prints (that too with the GamePad!). The console is heavy but what do you expect? I love how there is a little white light indicating that there is a disc in there. Very handy!
The setup was actually quite fun. The update was long and tedious. Which was bad. I wanted to start playing Nintendo Land straight away! I made my Mii by taking a photo and making a few adjustments and I've got to say that making a Mii on the Wii U is so much fun! My one looks much better than my old Wii one.
The home page is really nice although I can't see Miiverse Miis, only Nintendo's (even know I am connected to Miiverse!). The loading is a bit annoying but it's not too bad.
The Miiverse is really good although I have seen some awful posts saying things like "febrheawgrhae" or "jgtfwebh". I have even seen foreign languages. I should think that Nintendo restrict Miiverse post to only your speaking language. I don't want to hear a German person moaning about Funky Barn.
The loading times for games and quick and fast. My PS3 fanboy brother is really impressed with that (he loves the Wii U! I have converted him!).

I don't really have anything else to say. I will post my Nintendo Land review soon. Watch this space!

Hi, my name is Alph. I live on a planet named Koppai. I am famous for saving my planet from starvation. My best friends are Brittany and Captain Olimar, NOT Captain Charlie. I like surfing the KopNet and playing Kopetball.

I like the weight, I've always thought a bit of weight makes something feel a bit more premium. I was slightly disappointed that my iPhone 5 was quite light.

There is an option to get posts only for a certain language within Miiverse.

Should be under settings.
