I say it still has some, there are actually two games that got me hyped up:
Kirby Mass Attack:

also, does anyone know of any good upcoming Nintendo DS games?

Lots of life, Kirby's Mass Attack like you said, Professor Layton, Lego Harry Potter 5-7, Solatorobo: Red the Hunter which is a brilliant DS game that launched about a week ago. I think North America are going to get it later this year.Posted the Japanese trailer of Red the Hunter because the European one doesn't have any gameplay footage.

I'd say 10%. I don't really care about the DS at all anymore. Now that the amazing 3DS is out, all I care about is the 3DS.

I've never heard of that game before....not even the first one either.

I really didn't like Devil survivor, but for me, the ds has bout 2 years of life. With all the games I am gonna play (ace attorney investigations 1+2, layton 4, time hollow, hotel dusk, phantom detective, etc) and how slow I am on completing games, its gonna take some time (especially since that 3ds is looking at me). I like playing ds games on ds, not 3ds.

I think the DS still has a year or two to go, maybe even longer. A lot of the casual gamers who bought the DS won't be interested in upgrading to the 3DS as they can do everything they want to on the DS. There's still some more good games coming out for it too, so it's got a fair bit of it's life to go.

The DS can still strive on. But i'm buying Kirby Mass Attack for my 3DS. lol. I don't even use my DS anymore. Thats sad.

I'd say a year to one and a half. Maybe even 2. That's how long I think new games will be made for it, but less and less as time goes on.

Definitely, the Wii's line up is dead. The DS's one is still going strong.

I'm sure the DS will survive for a good amount of time, and to be honest, I don't mind if it stays alive.
It has a better support than Wii and a lot people own a DS but have not got to buy all the games they wanted to... (Like me, I've always wanted to play tWewY, but I've never gotten to buying it...)

Actually, it's in my local GameStop, but it's kind of expensive and I'm saving for my 3DS so...
