Im 18, always been a Nintendo gamer since the first consoles i played were N64 and SNES. I skipped the gamecube and got the PS2 (which IMO nintendo have never made a console as good as). I never bought a PS3 or £60 and continued to play my PS2 with its massive catalogue of games until i got Wii and played that along with my PS2. My brother got a 360 and i played that too but now the Wii U is out im hoping it will be my main console and i wont need to play the 360 for many games apart from exclusives.

I'm 37 and basically pretended like I was buying the wii u for my kids! While I do somewhat like Mario, I am really waiting for a Zelda game. even a metroid game. I'm not really into the newer stuff, but if they come out with a Castlevania 16 or a Zelda 22 game, I am there!

I am really impressed that there are a lot of "senior members" here like myself! figured it was all 14 and 15 year olds!!

I'm 28, and also "bought the wii u for my kids" .... pfft... it was for me...

I'm also very impressed with the amount of older gamers we have on here, I also expected a lot more of teens and even younger, glad to see the 30s and better representing.

I am 31 and from the UK I remember playing my first arcade game it was ghost and goblins played it down in cornwall ( Looe )
Our first computer was the ZX manic miner and dizzy games then the amiga which is still my favourite computer , after that I lost touch in games they was moving to the 32 bit era playstation,

6 years ago my wife brought us a Wii and for the first time in a long time I felt like a kid again
love the big N

and now got the WII U and have to say thinks its great

Well it's safe to say that the average age for buyers is 15-40 since there are a lot of Teens, 20 and 30 year olds getting it

Hello, I recently bought myself a Wii u, and have been having quite a bit of fun with but I was wondering how old are the average buyers. I'm 29 and would like to find some older players to play black ops 2 with

I'm 26.

Grew up with NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, N64, Virtual Boy (ugh), Fat Gameboy, PS1, PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360, Game Cubes, Game Gears, Jaguar, Wii (hated it and now Wii U)

And of course, the hardcore always have a nice high end custom gaming PC.
