Can you play with traditional controls? Or do you have to use the Wiimotes. I assume you use the game pad, but could a 2nd player use the traditional controller?

Sweet, thank you.
The Wii had a few draw backs to me: 1) Graphics and 2) the fact that you had to use the Wiimote for just about every game. It was an innovative way to play games, but sometimes you just want to relax and play a game where you push buttons if you know what I mean. I guess 3) would be that the Wii lacked true hardcore games too. With Batman, COD, AC III and others it looks like all 3 of these issues could be answered.

It never works for any of the sports games that I played. Most of the games you had to use the Wiimote and do a shooting motion or swinging motion. Again that is fun to play with friends and family, but sometimes yolu just want to push buttons.
Anyways I don't want to go too far off the NBA 2K13 topic, but I did pick it up today at Best Buy (on sale for $49.99) can't wait to play it. I have the game pad and I will make my brother-in-law use the pro controller.
