I was just thinking that nintendo should release games like little kings story but playable on the wii u gamepad only and also maybe upped to 1080p. Maybe do this with their key franchises and the better third party wii games.

Yeah, they need to remake Xenoblade Chronicles, but utilize all the space on a dual-layer Wii U optical disc for some delicious, delicious texture and model detail.

It's no doubt gonna happen, as they've done it plenty of times before. However, I'd probably give up on the likes of anything that hasn't been directly developed by Nintendo's main studios.

Examples being:
Twilight Princess
Metroid Prime Trilogy (so to speak)
Pikmin 1 and 2

I personally think they should do it with their biggest games. Like mario, zelda, little kings story. Games like those.

This would be great, I'd love to see Wii games in 1080p HD with other extra gamepad features on Wii U. It would be like the short lived New Play Control line on the Wii, except it would be preferably long lived. As long as the games were reasonably priced, I'd buy them.

I would buy a few wor the wii u that I did not buy for the wii such as super mario galexy 2

They should release a few HD remakes of Gamecube and N64 games on the eshop, im talking new character and world models and updated textures, if they were to do that it would be great if you could switch back to the original graphics as you could do in Halo:combat evolved anniversary edition.

Ahh they probably will later on in the wii u life but I don't see it happening anytime soon. They don't want to be knew for making remakes and ports all the time.

They will, because it's Nintendo and it's easy money.
But would would be really awesome would be if they just upgraded the wii game player in the wii u to render games at 10

It will happen in a few years definatly, eventually Microsoft and Sony did it for Xbox and PS2.

I'm sure Nintendo won't be able to resist doing remakes. But honestly I would rather be playing fresh new games than a bunch of previous generation games.

They'd make a killing on HD remakes. I think we'll see some eventually. Look at how well Ocarina sold on 3DS. I'd LOVE a remake of Link to the Past.

I guess I just don't understand the hole wanting remakes thing. I LOVED Mario 3 back when it came out. And still play it every once and a while. But would I choose a Mario 3 remake over a brand new 3d Mario adventure? No way! Ocarina on 3ds was good yes, but wouldn;t you rather have already had a NEW Zelda game on 3ds?
