After I pulled everything out of the box, ran my wires and sat down anxious to setup my new Wii U, the game pad asks me to enter the four symbols from the T.V. Problem is, the T.V. doesn't show anything but a white screen with a blue Wii U in the middle. I'm hoping this is an easy fix. I charged my remote and followed the instuctions sent. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
When trying to sync, no symbols show on television... :(

Press the red sync button on the console after the title screen.

No blinking blue light. It stays lit constantly, altough the system won't turn off unless I unplug it. I've tried various sync button combinations to no avail...

Thanks for the video. My Wii U never gets past the white screen (@ 10:30) with the Wii U centered. It never asks me to sync like (@ 10:44) in the video. I'm not sure if this is making sense...

Bad news for me... I found this thread. Looks like most people are sending it in to get fixed. I'm going to try and return it and buy a new one.
