Can some one walk me through how to get my regular wii games to work on my wii u??? I know not all games are compatiable for what ever reason and that not all games will work with the game pad. But I have tons of wii games out of the new and old games I know some should work. I tried Donkey Kong and the Wii The New Super Mario Bros and the system won't even recognize the dics in the system. I haven't played my old wii in months because it runs hot and sometimes just cuts off in the middle of playing a game or watching netflix the wii u was the only thing i really asked for and it would be terrific to get some of my wii games to play on my wii u...

After you insert the Wii discs, you have to choose "Wii" from the Wii U main menu in order to launch the old Wii operating system.
