I'm trying to get my WiiU set up with my PC monitor. The video works fine, but the problem is with the sound. If I plug headphones into the gamepad controller, I will only get sound that comes from the gamepad, not the TV/console. My question is if I plug my WiiU into this HDMI switcher (http://www.monoprice...&seq=1&format=2), then plug it into my PC monitor, will I be able to then plug in headphones to the splitter and hear the audio from the console?

Does your monitor have a headphone jack? Many monitors that have an HDMI input also have an audio out jack. If so, just plug your headphones into that.

My monitor has no built in speakers or headphone jack. It might be worth it for me to buy a new monitor that has a headphone jack though. I will need a new monitor pretty soon...
