Is the Wii U letting you connect to your wireless network today because I have been ignoring the day-1 update this entire time.

Ive never had a problem with mine connecting wireless from day one just plugged it in hit connect and it all worked for me,havnt tried today but its been flawless since i got it.

Are you attempt ing to connect for the first time? Make sure router is using channel 11 and is broadcasting 2.4 and 5.0 ghz if applicable

i had a problem on xmas day but that was only because my router/modem needed restarted for an update. The wii u has been connecting fine everyday

You should be able to use other channels besides 11. Channel 6 should also work. Those are the two main ones.
