I left my Wii U on for 3 or 4 hours and when i came back the console was still running but the gamepad was off. I tried turning it on but nothing happened. So I tried charging it over night (7 hours). The orange light wasn't on and after the seven hours the gamepad still didn't work. I only had the console for three months.

no light at all?
Try to open up the back of the Wii U gamepad to access the battery, (I don't think this voids the warranty, but double check) Try to reinsert the battery and make sure its connected properly.

Opening battery compartment doesn't void anything. If reseating the battery doesn't work (leave baytery oout for 30 seconds to two minutes) I suggest calling the big N. PS it is impossible for you to have Havez the console for three months. Lol
Oh one last thing to try. Unplug console for two minutes
