Something has happened to my Assassins Creed game. When I load the saved game now, I can see my character and change the view point with the right stick, but the left stick doesn't move me any more. I know the stick works because if I hit + or - and go into a menu (the map or settings or whatever), the left stick works there, it just won't move my character. I've tried both the tablet and a pro controller and have the same problem with both. I believe it first happened when I tried to play the game with the TV off and using the Wii U controller only (via the settings option that lets you do that). Since then, I've had this problem and changing that setting back doesn't help, nor can I find any other setting to help. Fast travelling to another place in the map doesn't help either. I get there and still can't move. It's like the left stick just isn't bound to movement any more. Any ideas?

It's likely to be a scratch on the disk or a dirty disk.....i had this problem once but i fixed it by restarting the memory i was in.....i got stuck between some area's like a post and a few logs and a wall

Thanks for the thought, but the disk is nice and clean with no scratches. I've done some more playing around and it appears the bug is just limited to the Frontier zone... if I fast travel to Boston or the Homestead, I can walk around fine, but if I enter the Frontier zone by any method (fast travel) or through any entrance, I suddenly can't walk any more. It's really weird, I can move around normally in the white screen while the animus is loading the zone, but as soon as the zone appears, I'm stuck. Fast travel back out of the zone and I'm good. I've been able to keep playing and haven't had any primary tasks that require me to be in the Frontier zone, but I'm sure it'll happen eventually and then I'll be hosed. Anybody have any other ideas??? BTW, the Frontier zone USED to work fine... I'm not sure what triggered this bug.
