I've just been to buy a wiimote plus to play Mario with the other half. I haven't plugged the bar in, still in the box. However..the Wii mote is working great for Mario..controls & motion. ..what does the Wii bar do? ..been a few years since I owned the original Wii, is it just for old Wii accessories?

It is needed for certain games where pointing at the TV is part of the game play. Some Wii U games will also use it. I don't own it but I suspect some the games in Nintendo Land require it. If you wanted for example to play a game like Legend Of Zelda Skyward Sword you would need it.

Walk up to these hot chicks and im all like

"Sup ladies, my names Slim Shady.

I'm the lead singer in D12 baby"
