So I've been thinking about getting Mass Effect 3 latley and i want to know if its worth it. I played the first one and it was ok, but I never finished it do you think I have to play the first and the second to enjoy the story of the third or can I just read the comic in the game and I will understand it well enough also does the new additions to the game make it worth buying. thanks for any help given

Mass Effect 3 is probably the best, closely rivaled by Mass Effect 2, I would highly recommend this game to you.

I would also recommend that you at least play Mass Effect 2. That is where the majority of the story comes into play, but you still will be kind of lost. Mass Effect 1's gameplay is not very good compared to 2 and 3. 2 and 3 are top notch in that category.

Do you think I should just get the trilogy that would have 2 and 3 or do the extra Wii U features justify buying 2 and 3 seperatley beause I have and xbox

Mass Effect 2 was one of my favorite games of this console generation. I'm currently playing Mass Effect 3 and loving it.

Also, I played Mass Effect 1 for the story but the gameplay of ME 2 and 3 is tons better. I highly recommend that you play through ME 2 before going on to 3 unless you really just don't have the time or care much to play it.

I personally don't think the Wii U extra justify buying it if you can get the games cheaper on another console. You should have no problem getting ME2 and ME3 on Xbox 360 for less than the price of just ME3 on Wii U, especially if you get them used.

Honestly I would get the trilogy . I already played 1 and 2 but skipped 3 on my Xbox so I'll be picking the wii u version up soon . Great series to get into

I've enjoyed them all and currently enjoying the WiiU version. I started to play the 360 version of ME3 and got a couple of hours into it but stopped when I realized the WiiU version wasn't coming with added WiiU controller support and that you could order your team mates around with the touch screen.

Now I have it, I don't use the touch screen features much except for the shortcuts for your powers which is REALLY handy.

Personally, I think you've made the right choice getting the Trilogy, the ME series is awesome and you'll have about 70 hours+ of gameplay there going by my timeframes but I like to do side missions and stuff

probly better off getting them on a different consul, i got the wiiU version and after finishign it, i found myself wanting the first 2 so i can get some of the different storylines and effects out of them. the comic only has a few important ones but still has alot missing.

The Mass Effect Trillogy is the best trillogy of last generation and one of the best stories ever told in my opinion, GET IT.

the comic got old very quickly. and greatly limits your choices from the stuff in the last game.
