I've seen news of Nintendo claiming they had released a patch to fix the issue.
I've also tried my own share of fixes, but nothing ever worked.
So did they ever fix it? or is there no chance of having a proper online Brawl untill the Wii U release?

I seriously doubt we will get a patch. I don't even think it is possible to patch Wii games, anyway.

It was, Call of Duty had patches for the Wii.Nope. They didn't fix it. We have to wait for Smash 4, which is almost guaranteed to have great online.

An example of this is The Conduit 2 which had bugs that made it impossible to pass the first level.
This is where it ends

However, everytime i would go online in brawl, it was always stupid people picking hyrule temple, going to the 4 corners and taunting....

This is what concerns me, why does it work properlh only for a few people?I don't know why everyone says SSBB online is laggy. I play online everyday and it always works great for me. I will rarely get a group with lag and if I do it's usually a person with a bad connection.

I don't know. But with Nitnendo's improved online we shouldn't have to worry about this in the next Smash Bros. This is what concerns me, why does it work properlh only for a few people?
