Galaxy one was cool, galaxy 2 was PERFECT!, but as great as galaxy is, how about mario Universe, traveling to different nintendo themed worlds..yes? YES!

I always wanted to try a SMG game but I would much prefer an open world Sunshine/64 style mario game.

How about a mario game same style as 64, but there are a few levels themed in space like the galaxy games? You can have the best of both you know... If they really wanted to they could also have some levels 2D! Imagine that! All the great mario types in one game! Better throw in some of dat rpg-ness as well just to be sure. And a level which mario is flattened into paper like paper mario. Oh man! If Nintendo did this the other companies may as well drop dead right now...

I think one of the things about SMG2 that really bugs me, is that it looked beautiful, it played beautifully, but took less than 100MB on my HDD, whereas the original clocked in at about 3.24GB

On second thought, I think it only used about 10MB. I remember spending an hour looking at the value, completely tripping.

played great, except for spinning stuff, game seemed to go not good on those. sunshine did fine on them. i was wondering if they used the N64 mario code or went from scrach.

I don't see how Nintendo can make a Super Mario Game like that but that would be cool.

I'd like a dark version of mario, kind of like the last level in SMB3, but 3D and mario and gang have to bring the light back to the worlds, kind of like twlight princess.

But in the 3D version, he brings back all the colours to the game. Start the game of a greyish colour with hardly andy light/colour etc and as the game levels go on the worlds get darker and he has to try harder to gain the light/colours back?

Just a thought.....or maybe I'm hallucinating again!....lol.....SUPER MARIO in the UNDERWORLD...mawhahahaha!!!!!

Last time that was done, the result was rather... Actually I'll just pretend that Mario's Time Machine never existed...

The Joestars always have a strategy. And that is to...

I like innovation as much as you do, But Galaxies gameplay and concept were both stellar(pun intended).
I don't see how nintendo could top them.

Waz up with everyone likeing mario sunshine? Mario galaxy 1&2 are epic. I love 1 espesically. I don't want an experinence even based off of any mario game. I want nintendo to try something new. Something they haven't don since mario 64. What about a game where mario switchs on to differnt screens. Like fractuared soul kinna. New power-ups. I don't mean reskinned verisons of other power-ups. I mean entirely new power-ups. Not even mushrooms or flowers. That's how I feel.

Pokedex entry: Mewtwo: The butt pokemon. It is really sexy and any pokemon that sees it wants to have sex with it. It's power comes from it's butt.

people are saying N64/sunshine because there wasnt a version like it for a while, galaxie 2 confirmed to the 2D style along with paper mario =/. sunshine and N64 had freerome in good and complexe environments. i want a mario game like that, some others do too, and its the kind we are lacking the most. as for things like sunshine 2, most of us arnt looking for something like that.

The Galaxy games are indeed stellar. Undoubtedly some of the best games I have played. However, as much as I'd love to have a third, it would undo the WiiU's most distinguishing aspect, the Gamepad. The Galaxy games used the Wiimote and Nunchuk duo to excellence, with the simple shake motion used simplisticly and well. You can't replicate this on the Gamepad. Besides, wouldn't you rather have something new?

This!

Mario Galaxy was based on using Wii remotes so I expect something totally different.
