Why does mario still have no detail to him in most games, I thought since I saw him in Smash Bros on the gamecube they would make him more visually appealing

Sometimes, things are best left undetailed. Besides, he's supposed to be cartoony.

What with all the stylized graphics of, well, pretty much any Mario game now, it would look out of place for him to have all that detail. Mario is meant to be a fun, cartoony character -- and game. At least, that's how I see it.

But I agree. They should keep him undetailed. At least for his main games.
