It has been revealed in the Official Nintendo Magazine that the Wii U version of Resident Evil: Revelations will have some unique features not available on other systems. This doesn’t necessarily mean it will have exclusive content, just some neat Wii U options. These features include the ability to allow off-screen play as well as Pro Controller support. Furthermore, the screen on the Game Pad can be used to switch weapons and examine the map during gameplay.
In the Official Nintendo Magazine, the producer of Resident Evil: Revelations, Tsukasa Takenaka, said the following about the Wii U exclusive features:
I wouldn’t want to be so presumptuous as to say that everyone will enjoy one version more than another, but there are definitely features in the Nintendo Wii U version that are not found on other consoles.
As I’ve said, these features are only used to enhance the Wii U gameplay and don’t add content that the other versions don’t have, but will that make the game sell nonetheless?
