I have a question that i'd like to ask about the Wii U. Well, I am might get my Wii U Deluxe Edition earlier than I expected to since I now have enough money to purchase it. What i want to know is when will Nintendo do that Wii U update? if i remember correctly, Nintendo said they will do some kind of update that will make Wii U loading times faster and not have people do that Wii U update that takes hours to download (I'm talking about the one where if you turn off your Wii U while it updates then it gets bricked).

So yeah, when can we expect Nintendo to launch that?

If I remember correctly, all he said was "in the coming months" though its generally accepted that it will happen either Feb/March or March/April. There will be two separate updates.

I would definitely hold out another few weeks and get one of the new Deluxe Bundles. For an extra $30 you get an extra game and the Wii U Pro Controller. They're essentially tossing in $110 of extra stuff for only $30 more.

Even if you wait to see if they start selling the console with that update included there will most likely be further updates like that in the future so you're not going to get away from having to do updates anyway. There is also no guarantee the actuall console you buy will include it anyway as it depends when that actual console was manufactured.

Save your money. Wait a few months until there are games worth playing.
