i take it this game want meant to be taken seriously? and these look like wii graphics... >.> this also has a dbz feel to it.
1 - it's a Wii game they are optimizing for the Wii U.
2 - Akira Toriyama is the character designer for DBZ and Dragon Quest.
On that note....please come out west!!!

I'm guessing you haven't played much DQ. Its more of a light hearted series.

no i have never played any of them, but whenever i went to the video store to get a game, i would always seen dragon quest 8. was always tempted to play it but ddnt know if it was a continuous story. and at that time i always theought the character on the cover looked like goku

Oh yeah. Dragon Quest is quite a big deal, especially in Japan. As far as the graphics, yeah, they've always taken a lighter, less serious approach to the series. DQ8 for PS2 also used the same art style as well. Still has a nice charm about it.
