I think you me SD card right, or are you talking about a flash drive. So far you can go as high as you want. I am not 100% sure on SD cards tho. I have a 1tb harddrive which is good enough for me.

With a cute face like mine, it would be impossible to not video chat with me.

But yeah, I'd probably only video chat with friends.

If they put in a preview mode, you can see what other people are doing before you connect to them, so you know which assholes to avoid.

#59316 Dragonball WiiU game

Posted by InsaneLaw on 02 February 2012 - 06:16 PM

Yeah, and I think it's practically guaranteed, along with Bleach, Naruto and One Piece games.

I'd like to see if they'd have their own Anime Channel, or a CrunchyRoll and/or Funimation App.

#24136 WiiU Trophy/Achievement system

Posted by Wertville on 25 August 2011 - 05:55 PM

I actually don't mind achievements, unlike many of my fellow Ninty Fanboys. (Even though I've only really experienced it in flash games :P)

Though I would like to:
A) Not have it interrupt cutscenes and important events
B ) Keep beginner level ones to a minimum
and
C) Not have them for DLC exclusive content, unless it's a free trail game, like a few are nowadays.

That's just what I would need to make sure that it isn't an annoying amount of them... But a neat D would be having at least 5 crazy achievements per game. Now I can finally get rewarded for becoming the golden chicken >: D

EDIT: I hate teh B) smiley >.>

#41937 Wii U Hard drive

Posted by Crackkat on 13 November 2011 - 12:52 PM

Actually, the easiest solution is the one they're using... Let them use any non-proprietary external hard-drive. Who cares if it comes with 30GB internal memory when you can just buy a 200 GB external for ~$50? (Which will get much cheaper by this time next year, so more like 400 GB for ~$50)

EDIT: Found a 1.5TB drive for $70. Memory is cheap.

no it would be cheaper to buy a wii u with a larger hard drive built in due to the economics of it. nintendo having them built in will be cheaper since nintendo will get a massive discount because they will buy in bulks ie ten million in one purchase. that makes it cheaper for them than for us to buy an external hard drive for wii u. having two models of wii u (one with, one without) would be the best way to go.

I think they should make two models, in both $300 and $350 form. (Or $350 and $400 form, whichever.)

The $300 form will have no Hard Drive (however, you can purchase one at a later time if you should want to) and will use external memory to save.
The $350 form will have a Hard Drive (The amount of gigs is TBD) and can also use external memory to save, and you can transfer data from the Hard Drive to the external memory card.

Just my two cents on it anyway.
