I completely agree to this, but sadly it isn't going to happen.

Nintendo has made a Facebook page for the Wii U (recently). So why would they make a Facebook account for the console that they are going to rename?
To top this off, the leaked controller had the Wii U logo on it. Again, why would Nintendo make a redesigned controller and put the console name on it if they are planning on changing the name?

It is frustrating though. So many people judge the Wii U just because it has "Wii" in it's name. People just assume that it is going to be motion controls all over again, the graphics are going to suck, it is going to be too "childish", all this just because it has "Wii" in it's name. My cousins, who recently quit buying Nintendo products (they hated the Wii) did just this.
It really is frustrating.

I agree. While a namechange could be better marketing, it's just a damn name people. Get over it!

TL;DR, but I agree they should target casual and hardcore. They just will have a haaaard time doing that.

Casual gamers will most likely think is too expensive for something they will use not too often. Also they could think it's just an add-on  Or they will think it's too hardcore..

While "core" gamers will think it's too casual, because of the Wii image,  controller gimmick..

I just hope it will be succesful. And please don't do a 3DS because it wasn't succesful at first.

Some of these things he listed seems plausible, but some seems completely bull. The Xbox 8s GPU better than the Wii Us? Then why is Epic complaining about the Xbox 8 and PS4s specs while only praising the Wii U? AND A 6GHZ DEV KIT?!?!?! I don't know of any computer out there that runs that much, or if it even needs it.

Also because Nintendo wouldn't even announce the price on the E3. It's impossible (nearly) for Ubi to know a damn price. And $450 for a console that's less powerful than Xbox 3? Highly, highly doubt it.

There is one positive side to this. I think Epic was quite statisfied with the Wii U (they kept praising it) and now they're going to bash the other next-gen consoles? That would mean the Wii U won't be underpowered.

Asking a console to "near render Avatar" is a bit... Too much, I think.This gen-leap is gonna be dissapointingly small tho, I'm affraid.

Yay for: Black Wii U, massive Retro game, perfectly running voice chat, clickable sliders, third party support for Wii U and 3DS.

0.7MP camera however, is a bit low isn't it? My phone has 3. New Zapper and Classic Controller, especially Classic Controller (to shut up the uPad naysayers, but also for cheaper multiplayer) are good to hear. EA and Ubisoft know possible other modifications, that's interesting. Please Ubi, I beg you, SC6 for Wii U.

If this all turns out true, man, this is gonna be a hell of an E3.

AND yet again, everyone seems to completely ignore the Wii U or don't count it as next-gen. Sigh.

Xbox 8 sounds pretty crappy, but Microfanboys will just say it's better than Wii U because F*** YOU, THAT'S WHY.

The name makes sense, but it just doesn't sound an look good. I'd rather have them stick with 720, 3, heck, even Durango is better maybe.

Don't get me wrong, I love Xbox's consoles and I might end up buying it, if it's for a decent price.

A hardcore gamer is one who spends a lot of time on his/her games. Some of them could be considered completionists.

The problem with calling it Nintendo is that it would be confusing. People wouldn't know if your talking about the console or the company.

People I know call the DS Nintendo and the Wii Wii.

this sounds very possible to me, im satisfied if the console just runs unreal engine 4, if it can be done properly with $180 worth of material then im happy.

Agree, because UE4 is a true next-gen thing. I don't want to pay $400+ for just slightly better graphics.
