#134631 FedEx Rant!

Posted by Gamejunkie on 20 November 2012 - 11:32 AM

I do deliver all my stuff, I've just had bad experiances with electronics getting dropped and or mistreated and I've had to send them back.

That's unfortunate for you. I've ordered loads of electronic items online including the majority of my games consoles (some from as far away as North America) as well all the iPhones and iPads I've owned over the last few years plus a couple of all in one printers and several computers amongst other things. I've never once had something get broken or damaged during shipment.

#134609 You could download the day 1 update in the background all along...

Posted by Gamejunkie on 20 November 2012 - 11:14 AM

Yeah, well people who go pull power cable out of their Wii U console don't have much in their heads. That is simply outrageous, since i believe noone don't turn power off when they're installing Windows or perhaps during bios update. No wonder that console is bricked after such act...

Umm... I guess you've never heard of power cuts. They do happen.

#134600 Wii U 'Has A Horrible, Slow CPU' Says Metro Last Light Dev

My wii u is fast. Dont listen to the hate.

Still better than anything Microsoft can make.

So is mine  Iiwsh all these trolls would go away I say we get out the pitch forks and torches and go troll hunting.

Typical fanboy comments.

#133492 Us that have to wait for the 30th :(

Posted by Gamejunkie on 19 November 2012 - 09:59 AM

LOL, I'd be willing to pay for it if I had a job. Shut your mouth.

I don't know what you're on a about. When I was younger and was at school with no job my parents wouldn't even have dreamed about buying anything like this. I think you should count yourself lucky.

#132436 Zombiu official game guide

Posted by Gamejunkie on 18 November 2012 - 01:05 PM

I'm looking forward to this game, with all the negative reviews it's getting, it makes me feel a little uneased. but still I can't wait for it.

The main reason I'm getting it is because I've preordered the Zombi U Deluxe Bundle that also comes with the pro Comtroller which is a very good deal. I'm not a big fan of horror games so I probably wouldn't be getting it otherwise. I'll certainly give it a go but I'm not sure if I will stick with it.

#131915 IGN reviews ZombiU

Posted by Gamejunkie on 18 November 2012 - 04:20 AM

If they arent biased than how did Goldeneye wii get a much lower score than GE reloeaded. It was the same game with a few different features. Please listen to reason GJ.

Did you actually read the text of those reviews or just the scores. I suspect you only read the scores and make your mind up from that. I suggest you actually read the text of the reviews before passing judgement. If anything you're the one being biased by claiming people should only pay attention to reviews from Nintendo specific sites. Not to mention you seem to be basing your opinion on their review go just one game. Besides judging by your comment in the other thread about Edge's Zombi U review you seem to dismiss any reviews that are not by a Nintendo specific site. That makes you biased in my mind.

#131906 Is The Walmart selling games yet?

Posted by Gamejunkie on 18 November 2012 - 03:38 AM

Some games on Amazon UK are coming out on the 13th even though were not getting the Wii U till the 30th O_O

I checked on Amazon UK and all the launch games seem to have release dates of November 30th.

#131898 IGN reviews ZombiU

Posted by Gamejunkie on 18 November 2012 - 03:04 AM

Never trust IGN's coverage of the Wii U. The people reviewing it are very biased Sony/Microsoft fanboys. They are reporting false facts that are completely opposite of everywhere else. So there are many reasons to make me beleive IGN is falsley attacking the Wii U! Stick to Nintendo themed fansites.

I disagree. IGN reviews and coverage is just fine. It's fair and reliable. They are not fanboys of anything and give all systems and companies the same fair treatment. They don't report anything falsely and are by no means the opposite of everyone else. Your just mad because you don't agree with their fair and unbiased coverage. What you say is laughable as Nintendo based fan sites are far more likely to be biased and unfair with their reviews.

#131514 wii u system review in progress

Posted by Gamejunkie on 17 November 2012 - 01:07 PM

To be fair that's just my opinion on IGN, I've been going off them for a while, we got off on the wrong foot yesterday and I'm sorry for that, I appologise for my behaviour :)

Fair enough. I think we should just move on.

#131236 What the heck?

Posted by Gamejunkie on 17 November 2012 - 04:24 AM

You make it sound like something is amiss.

What's the matter, kirbylover?

Well for one thing the Deluxe set should be worth more coins as it costs more.

#131212 Is my copy of Assassin's Creed 3 defective? (Picture included)

Posted by Gamejunkie on 17 November 2012 - 03:03 AM

I was also worried that it could damage the Laser Lens.

It won't. You're worrying to much. And by the way it's defective and not defected.

#130062 Anybody who wont get wii U at launch day?

Posted by Gamejunkie on 15 November 2012 - 12:42 PM

I will not buy it at launch day, or the month after and the reason is, wii U tech is not that expensive to cost us 400 euro!! 600 dollars!!! (to be more specific the price starts from 380 euros and goes up, depends the store).

So, I will wait, till price drops, dramatic price drops. I was expecting it, for about 250-270, with this tech and as a new system... Not 400!!! (and without hdd) My delay also, may give some nice benefits in bundles, also a wii U with ethernet port? (plus more games to choose from).

here is a list of shops for the premium packet https://www.skroutz....-Pack-32GB.html
and here is wii U with only 8 (3gigs of usable data)  https://www.skroutz....c-Pack-8GB.html

No offense but your posts in this thread just indicate the level of your naively and ignorance. If you think a mid range PC is better value for money then a Wii U then go buy one of those and stop trolling with threads like this.

#128796 It's the Final Countdown

Posted by Gamejunkie on 13 November 2012 - 03:46 PM

I haven't played it but I know that these mini games are worse than Wii Sports Resort (the only good mini game game)

No you don't know because you haven't played it. You have no basis to make such an opinion and are just making clueless assumptions and being biased. People who have actually played it disagree with you. There is no credibility in what you say.

#127813 Bad news for down loaders!

Posted by Gamejunkie on 11 November 2012 - 05:31 PM

Does it have to be USB 2.0 or 3.0, and what format does it need fat32 or NTFS

From what I understand it works with both, but with 3.0 it only will work as if it were 2.0 with speeds and stuff at least that is what the guy at best buy told me. As for what format I have no clue, not really a techy guy but I pick mine up in a week so I'll find out soon enough

The Wii U has USB 2.0 connections. A USB 3.0 hard drive will work but it will be over kill unless you're also planning on using it with a computer with USB 3.0. As what format I don't think we know yet what the Wii U supports but whatever it is you should be able to format it through a computer so I wouldn't worry about that. Seagate is probably the best brand to get or otherwise something like Western Digital will suffice too. I've used both and I find Seagate to be more reliable.

#127495 It's the Final Countdown

Posted by Gamejunkie on 11 November 2012 - 02:38 AM

I don't have the game, I know it sucks because it is full of MINI games... this game is worth like five bucks at the most.

Great contstructive post - not. ;) if you don't want the game that's your choice. However you haven't played the game so you're in no position to criticise it until you have so your comment is hardly credible.
