About Me

Hey everyone!

My name is Auzzie Wingman.

As with many of you, I like to play video games. I also do enjoy my time spent around various forums. I have access to a Wii U, a PSVita, a PS3 and a PS4, and of course a PC. I wouldn't say I'm a PC Gamer though, minus the odd game of League of Legends or Runescape.

I am a pretty likeable guy, although I shouldn't be saying that for myself. Generally speaking, I'm all about making sure quality and friendliness is maintained here on the Wii U Forum. I literally act like a Wingman, not just in name. I don't fly planes though, not outside of games.

A long time ago, we had a Guide system on this forum, where certain individuals were tasked with making a user's transition into the forum a good one. It was a little premature for it's time, and so they've long since been disbanded. I still wish to carry out this role, so if you feel you are being treated unfairly, come talk to me however you like and I'll help you, I promise.

There are a few things on the Wii U Forums you should keep in mind. First, the Rules are something you need to adhere to at all times if possible. They are more or less the general rules spread throughout most forums, so if you are familiar with IP.Boards then you shouldn't have to worry about. Otherwise just keep to a moderate, well meaning nature and you should be alright.

From what I can tell, Australians get paid more and pay more.
How about a rough example.

A 16 year old kid works at Maccas. He gets about $12/hr in Australia. Similarly, a 16 year old kid does the same, except in America. She gets about $8/hr for doing that.

Just because it seems more expensive here, doesn't mean it's a direct value. 3DS games here cost something between $50 - $60. In America, I think the average is somewhere between $35 - $40. But regardless of the number that is shown, it's really only about a $10 difference when you equalise everything.

Or something like that. Merc, We aren't getting overly ripped off; it's a lot closer than you think. Also, you should get a job. Try to get a job at a local business with lots of customers, like a Green Grocer or a Butcher. Local businesses tend to be a better job experience than a chain.

I'm... first? Oh cool, been ages since that last happened. Well, I guess I've got to tell you everything.

Formality: Please read the rules. I know most people don't, but chances are the best way to handle a situation comes from them.

Okay, so I'm Auzzie Wingman, a member of the guides. Our job is to make sure you settle in quite nicely with a friendly and helpful attitude. You can ask us for advice, but there is also our trio of forum super heroes: Feld0 the Administrator, AMAC the Moderator, and Brian6330 the Lead Guide.

I also came from 3DSForums to here, and have been relatively active both here and there since. Pretty much, the majority of people here have an account over there as well.

And our site... is the friendliest place on the net. We breed out the need to troll from the get go. The positive reinforcement of this forum is unlike any other on the internet. Please, stay a while. And remember: The Yoshis are watching...

Also, doesn't mean sprinting can't be re-assigned to a face button, shoulder button, and something else, like reloading, assigned to the touchscreen or as a motion gesture. Call of Duty and other FPS games on the Wii have easily converted to the Wii Remote + Nunchuk setup.

Give me a list of controls in CoD on a console, and I'll give you a list for a Wii U Tablet.
