They should rename it New Super Mario World, hope it has a place similar to the star road, with a giant cheese in the background and in the last level bowser jumps into it and runs over mario.

Exactly. And replace bricks with turnblocks, give the Goomba's a make-over again, get rid of the damn flagpoles already... It would really be worthy as an SMW sequel.

Anyway, I'm predicting this will be the best 2D Platformer since SMW itself, if the leveldesign can beat that of NSMBW, which was brilliant.

Pikman 3, ZombiU, New Super Mario Bros U, Darksiders 2, Rayman Legends, Assasins Creed 3, StarFox HD (Retro's mystery game) Wii U has a great line up. Best out of ANY system launch.

I'm not worried at all. There has always been a subtle power difference in every generation. The PS3 is by far the most powerful console of all time, and no where near the top of the best selling. Content is king my friend - with the Miiverse and robust 3rd party support the Wii U has potential to see Wii like numbers, and become one of the most revered Nintendo consoles since the SNES.

I actually hear the complete opposite. I hear most of the developers excited about the Wii U. Some are skeptical but its expected with a new console.

lol if anything wii u will be more powerful than the next xbox because that has to take into account the kinect 2, and ps4 will probably be the most powerful.

i wouldnt worry because wii u has 2010-2011 tech in it which is amazing, im guessing they got some deals on components.

next gen will be on par for the most part . where did u find this info that it will be weaker btw? because i havent seen any confirmed info.

just FYI im reading edge-online preview for zombiu and here is the offical quote from the developer. "the game employs a semi-open world structure, so task can be attempted in any order". so there you have it

Yea marketing has been a tad light in recent years.  I liked with what they did with the Ocarina of Time 3D trailer.  Remaking the same exact trailer from '98 using the the 3DS game footage was awesome. Hope this doesn't sound too corny but it would be cool if they aired a 30 second tv ad in the next month or so along the lines of this suggestion.  I think for the teaser it would be neat if they had a pitch black room, complete darkness.  Then in sequence have the familiar blue light of the Wii light up first and glow.  Just the light, nothing else, keeping the system hidden in darkness.  Next, after 5 seconds or so, have the gamepad screen light up besides or underneath the blue light.  As before, leaving the gamepad itself hidden in the dark. Then last, have the tv turn on to the exact image shown on the controller.  Then after a few seconds have the tv change channels quickly leaving the gamepad still at the same image or game as before.  That way showing the separate image capabilities.  Finally, the tv channel changing comes to an end and stops on the Wii U logo with a "coming soon" appearing afterwards.  Just pulled that out of my ass.  Heck, they could probably pull off a 15 second ad with that.  Lol!

RARE, oh how we remember you fondly. We remember the days of Diddy Kong Racing, Donkey Kong 64, Conker’s Bad Fur Day, and naturally the original Banjo and Kazooie. I remember even after being bought by Microsoft how you still had one last trick up your sleeve known as Viva Pinata, an extremely under-appreciated gem from last generation. Now you are a shadow of your former self making silly casual Kinect games that no one is buying. Banjo and Kazooie has always been viewed a very Nintendo like franchise, one which died with Nutz and Bolts. Nintendo, according to this anonymous tipster, is looking to correct the great disservice in the killing off of this once beloved franchise.
According to the tipster, Nintendo is in direct negotiations with Microsoft to buy RARE, though the purpose of buying them seems to be all based around getting the rights to Banjo and Kazooie. Of course, we can’t forget the other key franchises Nintendo gets with the acquisition. Conker’s Bad Fur Day may have been shunned by Nintendo, but a sequel to that game should be embraced by the Nintendo brass if they want the Wii U to really be for everyone. Of course, this rumor doesn’t stop there - it goes as far as to suggest that Retro Studios is actually deep into development on a Banjo and Kazooie title, and that the talks with Microsoft have been ongoing for some time.
Every fiber of my body wants this rumor to come true, but I know better. You might as well take this rumor with 3 giant semi-trucks of salt because if I was a betting man (and I am), I would throw my life savings in the corner of falsehood here. But we can dream can’t we? RARE and Nintendo back together? Banjo and Kazooie back where they belong (and likely in a Smash game to boot?). For once can one of these anonymous tips be right? Doubtful, but God willing we will get our way.

Now I have absolutely no idea where they got this from, but it is VERY interesting. Let's hope this is true, because if it is, the next few years are going to be heaven for us long-time Nintendo fans..

I think that they should get Luigi involved in the game. Mabye even have a multiplayer co-op mode where one person is Luigi and one is Mario.
