#195758 Removal of the Chat

Posted by SolxBurst on 16 April 2013 - 07:01 PM

While this made me sad at first, I respect and understand the reasoning behind this decision, and at first I wished there was another solution, but this is the best solution. As of late I thought it was starting to get better but I realized that the nature of chat is to become what it had become, a place of drama and immaturity, and even if it was starting to go away, it would just come back again.

Goodbye, chat, I don't think I'll miss you, but I will cherish the times we had together.

#193416 Disney Just Gutted Their Hand-Drawn Animation Division

Posted by SolxBurst on 11 April 2013 - 05:25 PM

>>BREAKING NEWS<<

Disney, the kid friendly multi-billionaire mega corporation, is now on a killing spree. They have been "axing" many hard working employees and effectively killing potential money makers. Disney's motivation is unclear but some crime analysts seem to think that they are "Cutting out the fat" in the form of the studios heads.

#192482 Game characters you have a crush on

Posted by SolxBurst on 10 April 2013 - 05:23 AM

I've fallen for quite a few characters.

From the Fire Emblem series it's been Cherche, Nephenee (I love Nephenee the most though), Marisa, Lute, and the straightest man-crush on Cormag (I'm straight, I swear... But this guy...)

From Final Fantasy it's Lightning, I love her character of this strong, and independent person who is also beautiful.

In Zelda, I like Ruto, it's weird, I know, but still... But I also like Zelda, especially the Skyward Sword and Twillight Princess ones.

And here's the rest: Momohime from Muramasa the Demon Blade, Ashley and Tali from Mass Effect, Lara Croft from the reboot (not that old one) and Amaterasu from Okami.

I have way too many, but I "fall in love" with lots of video game characters. It's because I get so sucked into games that characters just kind of become just that much more "Real". Obviously this isn't a real crush, and I don't have feelings, but if these characters were real... Lets just say I would have tons of dates to go on...

#187964 Sort Your carp crap Out, Nintendo

......................What? Sorry, was playing Monster Hunter 3, and Lego City: Undercover.......... Wow, I am having so much fun! Imagine if I was complaining about Nintendo not having good support or something, I wouldn't have nearly as much fun playing the exclusive games I have for the system!....

#184492 Deus EX heading to the Wii u

Posted by SolxBurst on 20 March 2013 - 06:12 AM

Square Enix has confirmed that the Director's Cut of Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be released exclusively on the Wii U.
No firm release date has been given, but the Director's Cut is slated to utilise the GamePad for touch-screen hacking, interactive map editing, augmented sniping, grenade throwbacks and other neural hub enhancements. The version will also include developer commentaries and in-game guides.
Tongs' Rescue mission and the Missing Link chapter will both be integrated into the game, while overhauled boss fights, tweaks to combat, balance and AI, Miiverse support, and visual improvements are also part of the package. Square Enix said that the Director’s Cut release will not appear on any other systems.

#183894 "Shipping errors"

Posted by SolxBurst on 18 March 2013 - 12:25 PM

So the "shipping errors" strike again! I was just told by my local GameStop that they will not be receiving Lego City: Undercover until March 20th. And the games release date is today, March 18th. This means that the game must have been delayed or something. The last release that this has happened to, was the last Nintendo published game to be released, Fire Emblem: Awakening. Now the game releasing tomorrow, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, is still on track, and this is a Capcom published game.

Now I am annoyed by this that it keeps happening, is this an intentional strategy by Nintendo to boost digital sales? Or is it what they have said, "Shipping errors"? I know that nobody here can answer that but I wonder if us as gamers should be wary with our release dates now? I know one things for sure, I'm calling my gamestop in advance from now on...

#182554 Lego City Undercover Reviews!

Posted by SolxBurst on 14 March 2013 - 06:34 AM

I am excited for this game, I will be sure to pick this up soon.

IGN's review is up. Sounds like a pretty good game, but load screens? Seriously? Don't see why they added those.

They added them to load...

How cool would it be to have some DLC where you battle against link and other zelda characters!

I think that some crossover DLC would be great, but I want to see the DLC get more in-depth. PLEASE, nobody concider this as complaining because I love the content we are getting, but I think it would be awesome if all of the Cards that you can get in the game could have interactions with other characters from their respective games, or have some sort of dialogue (Instead of just "...!!!"). This isn't a complaint, it would just be a cool extra.

#180053 Luigi's Mansion Scare Scraper Footage

Posted by SolxBurst on 06 March 2013 - 06:31 PM

I want them to make more of these, in-house previews, I like this direction Nintendo has taken with their community interaction. I want to see them have another for, say, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity (for example), its good for marketing and it gives the company more personality.
