#223296 Zelda U to contain a bit of Skyrim

Posted by dark_rabbid on 18 June 2013 - 04:22 AM

i just hope the new Zelda game doesn't inherit Skyrim's performance issues and bugs.  Otherwise an open world Zelda would be a nice change of pace.

Wouldn't worry about that Nintendo seems to have some good testers and debuggers. I actually wonder if Bethesda has them.

#186035 Need for Speed: Most Wanted U [Criterion 'definitive' version]

Posted by dark_rabbid on 25 March 2013 - 03:54 AM

Had about 30 minutes after work last night to finally fire up this game and I'll say its pure fun. This is the kind of game I could just sit around for a couple hours seeing how long I can avoid the cops and make them crash into each other   . Graphics are superb and look beautiful, frame rate is rock solid and the game does have depth. Exploring the features and online integration  will be cool as well.

I really like the co-op mode where you can change cars on the fly, cycle night/day etc. This game is well worth the money.

Also I love the miiverse integration from the speed cameras to my fav the billboards, getting your Mii's pic put on it for jumping the car through them is fun, and if your friend jumps farther his pic is up in my game! Then I must beat it to make my rabbid look a like Mii's apear allover there city.

#182746 Fast&Furious Showdown headed to Wii U

Posted by dark_rabbid on 14 March 2013 - 03:25 PM

First thing I did was check my calendar to make sure it wasnt April 1st

Normally in a situation like this I would say: "Yay! I welcome you Mr. New Game with open arms, even though I wont buy you because Im not a fan that doesnt mean I will shun you, because games are games and we need games"

BUT this isnt a normal situation..... this is a game with The Rock....Anything that has Vin Diesel or Dwayne The Rock Johnson needs to be taken and burned, then take the ashes of their remains and cram them into the throat of a dead wildebeest carcass, then burn the Wildebeest carcass.

....The only way I will gladly pay any amount of money for this game is if there is a gamemode that lets you brutally flog the rock with flaming whips and molten chains

This is definately a system seller alright... gonna make me sell my Wii U

Now Im going to go pour listerine into my eyes in hopes that it seeps through to my brain and cleanses it from the thought of such a putrid game

what your supposed to do with ashes is use them to reload some shotgun shells and shoot them up a boars butt.

I've been on the fence about this game, lately.

it's worth every cent you could easily burn a hundred plus hours on it, I'm pushing 90 on my second play through. If you like strategy give it a try.

#161411 Why I don't like other systems

Posted by dark_rabbid on 21 January 2013 - 10:13 AM

1 Xbox. Didn't get it would have like to try gears etc but don't like paying for online.
2computers. Not for me , hate keyboard and mouse, small screen love the graphics but I am terrible on up keep, when I get a computer it's worthless in a year. I'm just that bad with takeing care of them. Good for others though.
3sony I have a ps3 it's not bad love the blue ray for movies, free online, sorry guys but I hate the dual shock(big hands) just don't fit. Nice exclusives but I don't put to many hours on them :(
4 not talking about Sony/microsofts next till I see them.

#158984 Is ME3 being overshadowed by COD online?

#149187 Gamepad Mic question

Posted by dark_rabbid on 18 December 2012 - 06:26 AM

I swear no one reads what I post Nintendo leaves it up to the developers what to do with voice chat the game pad mic is used to chat in mass effect 3 so if they want to use the mic they can or they will use a headset or nothing depends on the laziness of the developer.

#142485 Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2013 Wii U

Aw those poor animals, how can he shoot them with a gun =(

It's simple yummy in my tummy.  :) I' m actually gonna be makeing 60 lbs of summer sausage with high temp cheese tomorrow. As for the games I wish they would get serious and make one with a world the size of skyrim that would really be awesome.

#140874 fallout for wii u

Posted by dark_rabbid on 30 November 2012 - 05:55 AM

Screw Fallout, I want Skyrim lol

deffinetly but no glitches and an expanded armor/weapon creator. (Nothing wrong with the current armor creator but I'd love to make more stuff)

#137632 Zombie U 2 wishlist....

Posted by dark_rabbid on 24 November 2012 - 05:38 PM

I think a sequel is very likely. I have no sales figures but the impression I'm getting is that Zombi U has sold a tonne (for a launch title). So I think the team is already planning/working on a Zombi U sequel, because I'm so sure they wanted to do so much more with the first one but the limited budget and time stopped them. The sequel will probably be awesome :)

On the miiverse it has around the third highest amount of posts and last time I checked literally double what call of duty had so that's a good indicator it's one of the top for launch titles. So there's a good chance ubi soft will want to do another. Also I hope capcom is paying attention they could learn something.

#135658 Good news with voice chat

Posted by dark_rabbid on 21 November 2012 - 03:51 PM

Not sure if you guys heard this yet or if it's posted sorry if it is,but I have good news, you can use the game pad for voice chat Nintendo must have left the mics use up to the developers. I.bought mass effect to test out how the bugs are wich actually aren't to bad the worst being a weird one where it seems to make my tv act wonky when you change colors on your armor, any ways I've logged a few hours with the online mode and it turns out the game pad is used like a cb/walkytalky when you hold a finger on the screen it lets you talk to the other players. So there is one more way you can talk online while playing although so far I think mass effect is the only game to do this the others need a head set.

#133218 Wii U online

Posted by dark_rabbid on 19 November 2012 - 05:31 AM

If you could and let me know, that would be great, cheers mate :D

I just played one match to watch the frame rate,  glitches, and other topical online problems .to be fair all the kids should be in school, so there's less traffic on the servers I would imagine and I only played one match. I would say  it's as smooth as butter compaired to the other call of duty a I have on the play station3  explosions don't seem to bother it ether. The only complaint I have is I still need to master the pad which is what the single player is for, if you have wii motes they would help but the pad will work just fine it seems to turn at the right speed so you don't over shoot the target. I will play it more later but first must beat the campaign to get the controls mastered because I was reloading jumping and crouching when I wanted to do something else. Once I beat the campaign I'll log a couple of hours on the multi and let you know for sure as for zombies don't care Zombiu rocks!!!!!!!!!!

#133183 Wii U online

Posted by dark_rabbid on 19 November 2012 - 05:04 AM

Just wondering is online really that bad?

I wanted to finish the campaign on black ops 2 first to get used to the controls first but if you guy need to know I suppose I could check it out.
