Hi this is my model of the wii u controller it took ages to model and isn't 100% done yet. I need textures to the buttons and the shoulder buttons and some stuff on the back.

I've seen comments from the Sony CTO basically stating that their future plans are still focused on putting out really beefy, cutting edge hardware. Considering how badly that burned them with the PS3 - the biggest financial disaster in the history of the video game industry - and how badly that's working out with the Vita, it's safe to say at this point that Sony's future as a gaming hardware player is rocky to iffy at best.

Based on Sony and Microsoft's continued performances and unchanging philosophies in gaming hardware in the face of failure, I suspect we're going to be seeing a very different gaming industry in terms of hardware and major players by the end of this decade. At this point, the days of Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft are visibly nearing a point of unsustainability, and when the Playstation and Xbox brands take their leave, it'll be Nintendo facing an even more complicated situation with Apple and potentially Google and other competitors as the face and structure of the video game industry continue to evolve and alter - it'll be up to Nintendo to remain as sharp and adaptable as they are now to keep their leadership position. Given that they're the only major player in gaming hardware that's entirely dedicated solely to video games and gaming devices - as opposed to simply having that as a mere division of a much larger electronics megacorporation - they're the only one with much real history, perspective, or vision when it comes to the medium as anything more than a simple feature on an electronic device. Their size, sharp leadership - which kept them in fantastic financial shape with careful management and hardware design even in their decade in last place in hardware - and focus as a smaller, dedicated company has been nothing but an advantage to them in this industry that the megacorporations can't touch. Losing them would be catastrophic to gaming as a whole.

That said, the future's only going to get more interesting, the 3DS is going to keep evolving as we get more firmware updates - December's huge one was just the start - features, and all sorts of games, and we haven't even really seen the tip of the iceberg with the Wii U yet. Exciting times ahead. Not so much for the present competition, though, going on their failure to react or adapt to failure and their increasingly clear visible lack of understanding of why Nintendo is as successful as they are now, or how to reach out to - let alone respect - the mass market audience.

I'd have to say the Hero of Time, version.  There is so much implications and darkness in his saga.  What makes it so dark is it isn't there unless you look for it.
Link never had a chance to live as a child.  He was treated as an outcast because he had no fairy.
Sure, Zelda sends him back to relive his childhood, but as Navi said, his mind matured to an adult, so he never had a chance to live through his childhood.  Because he is Hylian, he is different from the Kokiri.  He will age, but they don't, so it's not an option to stay where he will be treated as different and as an outcast.  His good friend Saria will never return, as she is a sage, even in the other timeline, if she still exists.
Then the Mask events happened.  Link was forced to relive the same three days, watching as people died and died again, never saved.  He could try to help them, but he would never be able to help all of them, as time constricts him.  He is also forced to live as the dead Goron, Deku, and Zora.  Any time you become one, you know they died, and Link was responsible for the Deku's and the Zora's death.

Out of all of them, I would have to say that Twilight Princess is the weakest, as the darkness is too forced.  It never comes off as a difficulty.  If anything, Link just runs back and forth throughout the game.
WW Link journeyed as a child and had his own rough time.
4sword/minish cap/etc seemed to have a rough, but not too rough time.
A link to the past seemed quite difficult.
Zelda 1 and 2 didn't have big stories, so it's hard to say.

Best Possible Scenario

When the XBOX, PS2, & GCN were out, multiplatform games were developed using the PS2 as the base console from which to port to the other platforms. The PS2 was the least powerful of the three; however, that did not hinder the development of those multiplatform games.

Currently, the 360, PS3, & Wii are out. Multiplatform games are developed using the 360 as the base console from which to port to the other platforms. However, the Wii does not receive most of these multiplatform games because the hardware is not powerful enough run them without significantly changing the games. The 360 is less powerful than the PS3; however, that does not hinder the development of those multiplatform games. Actually, many of the ports look or play better on the 360 than they do on the PS3 because they are better optimized for the base console that they are developed on.

When the Wii U comes out, multiplatform games will continue to be developed using the 360 as the base console from which to port to the other platforms. However, the Wii U will receive the best versions of those multiplatform games because of additional features that will be added to take advantage of the new controller. Also, do to the touted similarities with and ease of porting from the 360 to the Wii U, the performance problems that the PS3 ports would have will be replaced by performance enhancements for the Wii U such as running in native 1080p and at a solid 60fps rate.

When the Wii U, XBOXTEN, & PS4 are out, multiplatform games will be developed using the Wii U as the base console from which to port to the other platforms. The Wii U will be the least powerful of the three; however, that will not hinder the development of those multiplatform games. again respectfully disagree. truth is there is a majority of people that want the best tech even reggie of nintendo stated this. sony was able to have legs to stand on this gen because they had the most powerful console and thus the best look or i should say graphically advanced games. i just dont see sony abandoning those fans. but it could be microsoft that has the most powerful console next gen like they did with xbox1.

I think he was referring to losing the entirety of the earnings made by the PS1 and PS2, both underpowered consoles.
