#241789 Ben Affleck - Should he stay as Batman in the crossover?

Posted by TheUltimateWaddleDee on 26 August 2013 - 05:52 PM

Everyone said the exact same things about Heath Ledger being the Joker, and that turned out amazingly. Wait until we see a scene or trailer of him as Batman before we judge.

#240737 Gay men cannot donate blood, but you can change it.

Posted by Mitch on 21 August 2013 - 07:52 AM

I actually have to agree with this somewhat. There are far too many homosexuals who engage in sexual activity with more than several partners. Whenever I meet another homosexual, they tend to be extremely sexually active and usually want to engage in activity with me.

If only I could find herds of women who lived this lifestyle and they accepted me into their clan as one of their own....If only

For many a generation, we as humans have wondered the question "can the Wii U run Wreck it Ralph in real time?". Today is finally the day this has been answered. Recently, the Disney Infinity video game has been released for multiple gaming consoles, including the Wii U. It has been confirmed that Wreck It Ralph will be released as a figure for this game later in the year or next year. Meaning that Wii U can run Wreck It Ralph in real time.

Never before seen footage of this groundbreaking event.

Wii U's system seller has finally arrived, running Wreck It Ralph in real time is a technological marvel that not even the Shrexbox 420 can handle.

Look up the ratio of gay men with HIV/aids (formerly known as GRIDS for very good reason) and you'll see it's not a discrimination issue.

As sodomy is a very major part of that lifestyle choice, HIV/AIDS is just the tip of the iceberg. Autoimmune and venereal disease abounds.

Scanning the blood takes time and money and a big chunk is found to be a waste of time in the gay blood donations.

All kinds of reasons why it's a good thing to not go there.

It's just wisdom.

#237944 What do you believe when you or someone dies?

Posted by Portal on 08 August 2013 - 05:26 PM

Isn't it if you're good or bad you go to heaven or hell, I don't think having faith in someone really depends if you go their or not, otherwise that would leave Every single aithiest in the world to rot in hell even if they're the kindest person in the entire world, and that's unfair.

According to what I've read in the Bible such as John 3:16, Acts 10:13, and others, it's a matter of putting your trust in Jesus Christ that He died for your sins as the only sinless sacrifice and rose from the dead on that third day. That's what I believe.

Alright. Guess I'll be the first. Mourn, if this starts an argument, sorry. I believe the Bible to be the Word of God, and also believe that when you die you either go to heaven or hell depending on your faith in Jesus Christ.

We're going to be watching this thread.  I'm not against religious threads, however there are some people who just use it to argue and there are other members who would just use this as an excuse to make me ban religious discussion.

With my luck, this thread will be locked in a matter of hours, when I just happened not to be on my computer.

Not a good idea... we had an Atheism thread once, that didn't turn out well at all.

We also had a "I don't like cats" thread, which turned out the same way.

#237844 Who buys a Nintendo console for third party multiplats, anyways?

Posted by Hunter on 08 August 2013 - 10:20 AM

I don't know if this is true or not, but it seems that Xbox One and PS4 will be getting all the old franchises, while Nintendo is getting a bunch of new stuff. Is it possible that soon people will get tired of playing the same games over and over again each year, and the Wii U will be well positioned with lots of fresh new games?

Which old franchises are we talking about here?

Also, I don't like this thing where I have to buy other consoles for multiplatform titles. I want the console I buy to get all multiplatform titles and then the reason I choose one console over the other is mainly down to exclusives and first party titles. But as you can see from the poll results, that will never probably never happen with Nintendo because the majority of people use the console as a "bonus" console since they have gotten so used to getting crappy ports of multiplats or hardly any multiplats at all.

Instead of buying Watch Dogs on PS4 maybe owners of the Wii U should buy it for the Wii U. I have seen a lot of people saying they are buying it for PS4 for even though no console specific footage or details have been released.

My humble opinion on the matter:

First, I chose a Nintendo console before others because I care about some Nintendo IPs more than any others: I LOVE Zelda, I think that Metroid is much better than most FPSs.

Second, I do care about multi platform coming to the WiiU, you see, back in the days when I had a Wii I would always wish I could try out popular multi platform games such as Bayonetta, GTA, COD, etc. but it wasn't possible and it made me feel bad. Now thanks to the Wii U being powerful enough it seems we will be able to enjoy such multi platforms.

#237795 Who buys a Nintendo console for third party multiplats, anyways?

I hate this. Why on earth do people want console gaming to be completely homogenous. What is the point in having multiple consoles if the games are all the same?

Who the hell cares about buying more games if they are all middling multiplat crap instead of awesome generation defining exclusives? This is the crap that turned this gen to the crappiest in gaming history, and people are so used to being shoveled feces they just lewve their mouths gaping waiting for more terds to be shoveled in.

Because 3rd parties have been trying to convince consumers of a one-console future for years. Furthermore, companies have always tried to perpetuate that there is only ONE line of evolution for consoles and that is the "just add more power to it!", blissfully unaware of Diminishing Returns, which are now happening as seen with the PS4 and the XB1. The entire reason Nintendo went in a different direction than everyone is because they realized first that just doing the same thing as everyone else wasn't going to work forever.

And companies HATED that. They hated being proven wrong by somebody they wrote off as a has-been, only for Nintendo to come back from the dead and basically humiliate them. They showed that motion controls weren't just a gimmick and that the huge leaps in tech philosophy 3rd parties had been perpetuating for years wasn't the end-all, be-all. It's akin to a fundamentalist finding out that the Bible had huge errors that needed to be corrected. But still 3rd parties have been just making thesame crap for years, terrified of actually putting forth effort or scaling back budgets a bit to focus on what's important.
