Posted by Alianjaro on 23 August 2012 - 06:40 AM

#101399 Anyone else worried.....

Posted by Alianjaro on 22 August 2012 - 07:56 PM

I learned not to worry with Nintendo. I may look like a fanboy, but really, they see WAY further than probably any of us. I wasn't mindblown by E3, and I didn't feel deception, but a truckload of hype because of some new aspects brought to the table. Now with their advertisement stuff, everything is getting neat, people are now learning about the Wii U... and getting the hype virus.

PLEASE BE RETRO'S OR MIYAMOTO'S IP

#100552 I want Zelda U to have motion controls

Posted by Alianjaro on 18 August 2012 - 07:32 PM

agreed, but i think the solution is simple, use motion plus like skyward, and for those who use the gamepad, allow them to do sword attacks with the right analogue stick, that way they can move the analogue stick to slice in certain directions without using a button to attack at all. was that clear?

LOL yeah crystal clear. That's an awesome idea! There's no problem since Zelda is not a game where you have to change the camera angle at all (I never did in any previous game), leaving the second analog free for this. And I guess that clicking the analog stick would make link stab his opponent.

#94907 Wii U Multiplayer Idea

Posted by Alianjaro on 22 July 2012 - 02:04 PM

Iwata did say that the 3ds could be used as a wiiu game pad. but i doubt that will happen in a financial situation.

He said that the 3DS could be a controller for SSB4.

lol at thinking your post looked core it didnt it looked silly pony GAMER AKA SONY DUALSHOCK

Relax man, he meant no harm at all...

#94414 Is the Wii U Ultimately Doomed?

Posted by Alianjaro on 19 July 2012 - 06:30 AM

Nintendo is gonna dominate the gaming market with the Wii U. That is all. *drops mic and walks out*

*Silence everywhere... Suddenly, one man stands up and claps his hands. Then another one, and another one. In a matter of seconds, the whole room had denied the silence in a hour-long standing ovation...*

#93848 Nintendo caved, says Patcher.

Posted by Alianjaro on 17 July 2012 - 05:07 AM

Poor Patcher, I'd hate Nintendo too if they constantly made me look like I was bad at my job.

O.O

May I, incredibly clever sir, take your comment as my sig?

#93707 Nintendo caved, says Patcher.

Posted by Alianjaro on 16 July 2012 - 05:13 PM

nintendo should have just listened to half there fan base to know we wanted a normal controller back

Youve got the Classic Controller...

This guy is just kind of weird in the sense that he just kind of talks out of nowhere all of the time, making assumptions, making stuff up. You know, what some industry analysts often do.

WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE ! ! ! You called it an industry analyst! BLASPHEMY ! ! ! GAAAAAAAAAARGH ! ! !

The thing is, that thing is not an analyst. :D

#91347 Bedroom?

Posted by Alianjaro on 02 July 2012 - 04:34 PM

would be very hard for me to play in the living room without my mum constantly seeing me and saying something like "omg you're playing games again!!! you have thirty minutes more and that's it" even though im 17!! but if it's in my own room, she doesn't really care (and i can play entire games on the controller while lying in bed :P

Exactly the same here with my mom. But my answer will be the basement.

#88644 why Miyamoto and Nintendo are the last standing

Posted by Alianjaro on 19 June 2012 - 08:53 AM

And don't forget, they rid us of Sega crapsoles.

LOL but still, at the time where SEGA was still alive (unlike now), gaming was about having fun, not like now with the crapcore gamers addicted to shooters that say that Ninty sucks.

#88422 Everyone says Nintendo is behind the times...

Posted by Alianjaro on 18 June 2012 - 10:23 AM

This is Nintendo:

-Creators of the D-Pad (believe it or not)
-Creators of the portable gaming
-First to introduce the touch screen in gaming (+ the dual screen gaming)
-First to introduce glasses-free 3D gaming
-First to use motion-based gameplay
-First to introduce colors in home gaming
-First to untroduce asymetric gameplay
-Creators of the sidescrolling gameplay
-Creators of the RPGs
-Creators of the top-down view adventures
-First to create a game that has an actual story (Super Mario Bros.) Before that, they were all arcade games.
-First and only ones to reproduce a kind of virtual reality (Virtual Boy, even though it was a complete flop)

What's to be deducted? They are "first to" or "creators of"... What did the competitors do? they followed the wave. Even the Playstation was mainly made by Nintendo and was supposed to be called Super Nintendo Play Station. Something happened between Sony and Nintendo (I think both companies were unable to come to an agreement concerning how to split the revenue between both companies) that made them break their partnership. This is why the Playstation only belongs to Sony.

Nintendo has proved that games don't have to have crazy graphics to be good since they almost always sell the most. And why do we even have to complaint now that we've got the Wii U's amazing graphics?

#88245 Super Smash Bros. 4 Discussion Thread

Posted by Alianjaro on 17 June 2012 - 06:27 AM

I was thinking about Knuckles, then thinking "Oh but you would need Tails as well" but then that's getting to be a bit of wishful thinking from a 3rd party standpoint.

What would be cool would be if you selected the series of games you wanted a character from, then it would display all the characters that fit in. that would tidy up the character select screen and give us room for more characters.

That would allow us to keep the clones without having them take more place, that's a bit like the alternate-costume-that-has-his-own-moveset thing. I hope they do it!

#87386 Iwata : The other companies online is to far developed for Nintendo to Catch up.

Posted by Alianjaro on 13 June 2012 - 11:43 AM

Hey guys! He said that trying to catch up with their online wouldnt be a smart strategy. This means that they don't want to do the same thing. They want to do it a different way. And as far as I know, the Miiverse is already bigger that what we currently have this gen. Am I right?

Yes, but he also said that the Wii U's online is taking a different approach then other companys.

Exactly.

#86939 Why is it "pro" to not have a screen?

Posted by Alianjaro on 12 June 2012 - 04:32 AM

It's a marketing gimmick to appeal to the hardcore gamers who label themselves as "hardcore gamers".

Exactly. But honestly, i can see why the Wii's classic controller was pro, but cant see a real difference for the Wii U's, apart from being a marketing gimmick. And I think that the gamepad is a hardcore controller
