#102283 No TWEWY Sequel, Announced at Tokyo Game Show? (Predictions)

Posted by Mignaga on 26 August 2012 - 09:48 AM

But I gotta say, Square-Enix probably made this port to gain a bigger fanbase, and then make a sequel.

Companies often do this kind of thing, and I hope that this will help them achieve that. They shouldn't have teased hardcore fans like this though.

#102186 Wii U Experience Denver

Posted by Mignaga on 25 August 2012 - 08:27 PM

I think that the GamePad will take some getting used to. When I had my time with it, yes it was big, but what did you expect?

I think the whole Batman conflict was just that GamePad that was glitching out. (And it being a really crappy port.)

ZombiU not being present is definetely a huge mistake. (Like you said, it is clearly the game that shows the Wii U's potential.)

So, in the end, your complaints were:
1. GamePad was too big, and awkward.
2. The Batman port is terrible.
3. And the event in general was one huge missed opportunity.

In my opinion, there really isn't a whole lot to complain about. (Could you maybe make another post explaining why you didn't like the GamePad, but more in depth?)

Maybe once you sit on the couch and play it, not standing up, and for a good amount of time, your complaints will be resolved.

I can see better titles showcasing the GamePad in the future, maybe even indie games on the eShop. (Plus, just think, these are all demos of full games.)

I might post more about this once I think about it more.

I thought it was a bit awkward to play something that required precision. That is really the only problem I had with the Gamepad itself (not including how it will be useful). I'm sure I will get used to it over time.

I want to buy it :( because I played it before and I liked it but I never owned it because I only own a Wii :(
Sorry you were dissappointed :( But its only a demo :) Nintendo can still approve upon it.
I wish I could go to one of those hands-on experiences but none seem to be in my area :(
I'm anxious to get my hands on it :D

I assume you are talking about Batman. If so I think it is still worth checking out. Bad port or not, it is still a very well made game that I would recomend to anyone. The Wii U version is probably the worst version of it though.

#101911 No online multiplayer for anything

Posted by Mignaga on 24 August 2012 - 08:47 PM

Sonic and Sega All Star Racing, Mass Effect 3, and Ninja Gaiden all have multiplayer as far as I am aware.

Mass Effect 3 has online multiplayer.
Assassin's Creed 3 has online multiplayer.
Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed has online multiplayer.

ZombiU and New Super Mario Bros. U use online, (not for multiplayer).

What was that about no games have online?

#101776 In the eye of zombie U

I'm calling it. Best 3rd Party launch title, and one of the better selling games on the system. I'm going to guess 3rd best selling behind Mario, and Pikmin.

#101594 Wii U bundles

I doubt that there will be different models at launch. Nintendo generally doesn't do that kind of thing.

#101544 Microsoft changes their logo after 25 years

Posted by Mignaga on 23 August 2012 - 02:19 PM

I personally don't think it matches the products that they are trying to sell. It would be like Nintendo changing their logo to a naked woman with a snake crawling across her. Well maybe not that extreme but you get the point. It is too boring, and doesn't jump out at you.

#101322 Is this real? wii u on 2013? NOO :(

Posted by Mignaga on 22 August 2012 - 03:08 PM

A little things called Christmas will keep this from happening.

#101059 Nintendo Power Magazine to End After 24 Years (May Continue Digitally)

Posted by Mignaga on 21 August 2012 - 02:13 PM

This would make me very sad if it were true. I hope Nintendo goes ahead, and buys the rights to the magazine back from Future. Digital would be an ok way for distributing the magazine, however nothing beats opening up the mail box, and having a new Nintendo Power sitting in there.

#101058 What color Wii U should I buy?

Posted by Mignaga on 21 August 2012 - 02:11 PM

I personally prefer the black, and that is the one that I recommend to everyone, however it is a matter of personal preference.

WHY DO YOU MAKE ME PICK THESE THINGS. Seriously though I you forgot Shulk (Xenoblade), and Zael (Last Story). Other than that though nice list.

#100437 I want Zelda U to have motion controls

Posted by Mignaga on 18 August 2012 - 09:36 AM

Haha, the enemies were dead easy in SS. In fact, my 7-year old son beat the crap out of all the bosses and could take the 10-in-a-row challenge at the dragon with no problems at all.

My opinion on the motion controls in this game is that it made the fights a lot of fun instead of just mashing a button. However, the fights aren't everything in the game, and it would have been a great game without the motion controls also. As everybody else, I just hated Fi spoiling the puzzles and stating the obvious all the time, and the linearity of the game, and the unability to skip tedious dialogues. But motion controls - it was a nice touch, but not essential.

Did he also just shake the contoller as fast as he could? I could have done that too, and would have won, but decided to actually play the game the way it was meant to be played.
