500K signatures needed? Yeah.. maybe if every single pre-order person signed it, and all 50k in Europe signed it, plus another 50k people signed it.. we'd reach that. But let's be realistic, that petition will never hit 500k. Ever.

I think 100k is a more realistic number and will show that the game can be profitable if ported to the Wii U

HA! amazing no one is mentioning this stuff on neogaf. when Wii U shows a slow CPU its end of the world. When 720 is rumored to have one OH its new architecturenit will be ok.

I saw a few people on gaf mention it. Neogaf is highly overrated in my opinion though.

The PS4/Omni/Whatever will be only slightly stronger than the Wii U, and the Nextbox will be slightly stronger than the PS4. I'm calling it now.

Why would Nintendo release another system that's a generation behind if they were going after the core crowd?

They are selling it brand new on Amazon UK for £36, definatly picking that up, they also have the Limited Edition The Last Story with a soundtrack CD, SteelBook case and an art book for £42, picking that up too at some point.

In europe it was more widely available. In the US it was a limited release at one shop :/

Yeah, it might be a week or so before we get to know exactly what's in it. I still plan on getting the Wii U. It's just I'm alway's worrying

I was the first to critisize yesterday and I realised how wrong I was, there was a thread on here earlier and it turns out nothing is confirmed yet and all the websites that did the teardown could have been talking out of thier asses, plus from what I heard when you register for Club Nintendo there is a message that says Nintendo is aware of the Wii U's Slow OS and they are working for an update to fix it, it also says the same thing in the support forums, and you can't really critisize that, all consoles launch with problems, if I understand corectly the 360's launch and PS3's launch was a lot worse.

That's good they are already openly acknowledging it. I still don't expect the PS4 Xbox720 to be all powerful. I just hope the gap isn't that big. Depends on what's in the GPU.

I don't think it needs to cater to hardcore. Hardcore already knows about the Wii U and all of its features. I think casual is fine, but they needed to say it was a console and show off screen gameplay

I think Dragomix is essentially correct. Next gen will not be as powerful as people expect because of the recession and intrudution of additional hardware.

What does this mean? They're not going to rush it for launch and release a refined update later. Sega said one of the troubles about being a launch title is they wont have voice chat. Thats why it wont have voice chat, voice chat will be tied to Miiverse somehow. Probably similar to Xbox live.
