The funny thing is with Xbox, people buy one to spend less money when compared with PS3 but end up spending more. xD

With a bunch of Minigames.
Basically its like MiiVerse, but with little minigames.
You go into the channel, pick through a category of different type of minigames.
And join in on one and play with up to to 5 - 10 people.
If you win, you get a star and it collect to your account to show how many games you have won.
Also at the end of the game, you can post a message, like congratulating the players...
The minigames would be similar to those of Mario Party.

The Wii U isn't dead, just cause Sony's PS4 is getting alot of hype doesn't mean they are knocked out of the competition, sure graphics are nice but if that's all their doing then they might as well become a movie studio.

 

I mean haven't you all forgotten the January Nintendo Direct? Shin Megami Tense X Fire Emblem? Yoshi's Yarn? 'X'? Wind Waker HD? A New 3D Mario game? Mario Kart U? Who couldn't forget Smash Bros 4, Sakurai has been informing us about how its turning out to be an amazing game, possibly EVO worthy, he even hurt his hand from working to hard in Smash Bros 4's development. Retro Studios is still in this too. I understand why Nintendo hasn't said anything for the past 3 months and these are urgent, but they are developing games as we speak.

 

The Wii U is a great system, but all it needs is games but you and i know they are coming, Ive been with Nintendo since SNES and ive grown to know the company as the years go by, I know the waiting will be worth it, so be patient.

The "true" next gen system slap bugged me. All next gen means is it is the next gen of systems. Means nothing on power or shiz. 

 

Wish people both gamers and game devs could try to get along nicer 

There are death scenes in some PG and 12A rated films and off the top of my head there are no seriously gruesome death scenes in tomb raider. I see no problem in an 11-12 year old playing them, but as others have said it is all down to their level of maturity. I've played 18 rated games an watched movies since I was around 12 and I turned out fine. IMO it's a myth that seeing violence in the media as a child has a profound effect on someone in later life.

man we already have a thread about 9 pages long on this. yesterday i was furious now my GAF(give a fork) meter is empty. the reality sad as it is is when you buy a nintendo home console you are gonna be in for a rough 3rd party ride. Wii U is gonna get more support than Wii did... so i guess thats a win???

also crazy i talked to mark rein on twitter asking if Wii U would be able to run the samartian demo(unreal 3.9).... he denied that unreal 3.9 even exist. he basically said its only unreal 3 and unreal 4. so i asked him what was the purpose of the samaritan demo which i never got a reply back from him which is not surprising.

Recently my 3ds stopped charging reliably. I noticed the system never had a full charge coming off the cradle, and would fail to charge consistantly when directly plugged in. The charging light would flicker off and on, and i had to move the loose feeling plug end around to get it to charge.

Observing how i could move the entire socket assembly by wiggling the plugged in cable, I came to one conclusion.

With monster hunter just released this was an entirely unacceptable situation!!! Something had to be done!!!


I figured one of the saudered mounting points had popped off of the socket assembly, so i grabbed my electrical tool set and began unscrewing the back of my 3ds. Sure enough when i got it all opened up...



I found the left 2 anchor points had popped off!

So, i grabbed my tiniest saudering iron (which was still way to big) and some very thin rosin, and holding the socket assembly in its proper position, tinned the tip and ever so carefully brought the 640 degree tip upon my 3ds, ever so gently dabbing the molten metal over the anchor points.

phew. The deed was done. I inspected the socket, and was satisfied with its firm hold, no longer wobbling at the merest touch. I closed the 3ds up, and tested to see if it came on, and then I plugged it in.

A solid orange glow from any way i held the 3ds showed me a job well done.



Ah, all is well. Sleep deep dear freind, for soon, when you are fully charged once more, the hunt shall begin again!!!

I can imagine the last game at E3 *silence on the floor, the lights dim down*

I would probably soil myself with excitement.

I really hope a third party uses Unreal 4 on Wii U just to shut Epic's faces up.

Or Nintendo.  That would make them look absolutely silly.

I love how when there are positive Wii U threads, most people (like GAMER1984) ignore them, but any type of negativity, and the doom and gloom people come rushing in to talk about how much trouble Wii U is in. Hmmm...
