I'm hoping it's dead in a ditch somewhere with Randy Pitchford burrying it, before getting caught by the local sherif, and then he kills the sherif and is a man now hunted by the law for tripple homicide, murder of the sherif, murder of a game, and murder of a franchise (but let's face it there are MULTIPLE suspects for that one).

However this thread is more of a theoroy page on what happened to the Wii U version.

My theory is that the Wii U version wasn't even made to begin with. The fiasco at Gearbox probably only just managed to get the PC and PS360 versions out on time. I reckon they hadn't even started on the Wii U version because Randy Pitchford is a god damn lying son of a ************ so with a game that didn't even begin development, and the fact that everyone knows the game SUCKS WRETCHED MONKEY TESTICALS Sega dropped the Wii U version (we dodged a bullet people! probably one of the only times NOT having a a game on your console goes for plus points in getting one) as no-one would buy it.

That's my theory on what's happened. The only way I see this getting resolved is if they basically build the game again from the ground up, with a new plot and with a different development company who can be trusted not to spend dev money on other projects.

My ideal lineup would be (basically a dream lineup, yet kept within realistic bounds not to go too nuts)

1)      OS Update – will allow the use of a second gamepad, Promises of continuing slim-lining over the coming years to improve services and quality.

2)      Miiverse Upgrade – between 2013 and 2015 Miiverse will undergo changes.Including miiverse app, and promises of possible stuff to compete with PS4's social features

3)      Nintendoland DLC – FREE DLC second gamepad use ONLY [available to play]

4)      Mario Universe - Possible optional second Luigi gamepad play [available to play]

5)      Mario Kart U - Multi gamepad with multiplayer to help with split-screen issues [availavle to play]

6)      SmashBros Universe (3DS save compatible, DLC fighters and arenas possible in future etc) [available to play]

7)      Star-Fox U - Another game designed for optional second gamepad use and a strong online multi-player environment (possible 3DS version too?!)  [available to play]

8)      Yoshi’s Yarn [preview trailer]

9)      Legend of Zelda:  Wind Waker [demo shown/available] 

10)   Legend of Zelda: U - Title announced, more details, and maybe some artwork, but nothing else shown until E3 2014

11)   Ubisoft to come up on stage - Watch_Dogs U and AC IV U trailer and  Zombi 2 U announcement  no trailer, just announcement.  

12)   Platinum games comes up talks about Wonderful 101, and shows Bayonetta 2 [demo available] 

13)   Capcom come up on stage give their support to Wii U

14)   Monolithsoft finally unveils next Xeno with onstage demo

15)   Retro finally show of their awesome project and blow some minds.

16)   Nintendo Direct 3DS event to follow after E3 event

I hope that they do a deal with Virgin Media due to the use of TiVo! But they've gotta bring it out soon, I'm dying to get it!

I've heard that the deal that EA offered Nintendo Microsoft took for their nextbox. But it's just a rumor.

I think Nintendo has to sell a lot more consoles and prove that it can be a strong seller for third party games. So far the user-base is small. Once there's some good first party games, mixed with the success of Ubisoft and other third parties will have to force EA to change their mind, they'd have to be mad to loose out on $$$. But it's going to have to be a journey taken by Nintendo with getting more people to buy the console along with Wii U owners to buy third party games

Thinking about it. It doesn't look like he's retiring soon, he's just training up strong Jedi warriors so when he's gone they can carry on his legacy!

It prefer Iwata retire's, I think we need slightly a younger person to take charge of Nintendo maybe give a new, younger perspective on videogames. But I'd be sad if Miyamoto retires because he's imagination and sense of fun is unparalleled. Whoever takes over from him I'm sure he'll hand pick, and I trust him

My only hope is that this game comes with 

1) PC garphics

2) New content + all previous DLC included.

3) Excellent gamepad usage that enhances the gameplay and doesn't act as a gimmick

4)  Reduced retail price.

I'd say "Resident Evil 0, REmake and MGS Twin Snakes" but I'd prefer a HD port with a HD games collection of those franchises....Everything else though can go on the virtual console....Apart from Twilight princess, I played it recently on my HD TV and by GOD it needs an HD upscale with higher resolution textures. I mean Skyward sword looks great bar the HUGE need for AA in the game on an HD TV, but TP remake would be nice next time we're waiting for a new Zelda (2017/2018?!)  

Oh my GOD E.A should just stop with the butthurt and put Crysis 3 on the Wii U!!! I guess it's a little too late, sales wouldn't be good. Nintendo should come to Crytek for a third party exclusive instead running on CryEngine3!

Let's NOT boycott EA here. Need for Speed Most Wanted U is one of the first games published by EA that made an effort. Let's buy the game to show our support that EA games can and will sell, so a solid business model can't be ignored anymore.
