Here's a story I didn't see coming. According to rumors, (jip there it is) Nintendo is developing an educational only Nintendo tablet running on Android.

That doesn't look like focus to me, I wished Nintendo would devote resources and time on core busines. New ventures might pay of but it can destroy the focus too.

Come to think of it, why did Nintendo choose to build an own OS for their 3ds and WiiU. Wouldn't be much smarter to use an android licence (or even Apple's iOS) as a base and build an Nintendo gameconsole layer upon that? Sure, building it yourself has a better connection to your ability to keep in control... But it's not Nintendo's core business, building an OS.

I posted this on my Facebook page, have a lot of parents there. 

I playedthrough campaign a few months ago and didn't look at the bonusmodes since in most games they're not that fun.

But I was wrong. The two bonusmodes really are wonderful. I dare say much more fun and addicting then the campaign.

I would have judged Pikmin a 7.5 but now I rediscovered it in a way that Miyamoto must have envisioned and I have to say that I was wrong. Now I'd judge it with a 9

I'm not sure because many of the parents that want to buy a christmaspresent and can't get a ps4 or x1, might look at alternatives....which is even a 100 euro cheaper and has more games too.

Problem is that it comes down to the store ( at least I believe) as to whether or not they want to order and stock a certain item. I know my Target a couple months back didn't stock the Scribblenauts Unmasked when it was released however they mentioned the other Target ( not too far away ) did stock it. Hopefully with the holidays, online sales and the stores that do stock Wii U stuff will be enough to make the stores re-think things and carry a larger selection, which I think will happen.

i really hope so, my kids and I enjoy this Wiiu very much

Made some changes to the direction of the spinning wheel, the direction of the spinning bottle and removed the last cursor animation for simpler layover. Happy now with the result and creation the different versions. After that I'll be editing some filmshots I made earlier. I'll edit that with Final Cut Pro X. Lastly I need to do a lot of audio...it's my least favorite part though

I'd like to receive some feedback on this animation I'm creating for work. There are some principles which are visualised as Bottles with different blocky substances. Don't try to understand why etc. But I saw some little things myself (The spinning object in the middle is not perfectly aligned in the centre, resulting in a strange motion). I need to adjust that and some minor other things. There are not any soundeffects and music yet, need to do those later.

 

Sometimes I lose myself though and fail to see any errors until I watch it back some weeks after finishing, and I think..."why didn't I see that". Well, this project is on a budget and very short deadline...

 

Well, any feedback would be welcome.

 

Just as with my first 'Imported-Pokemon-Red' I didn't really care which version to get. To be honest, I bought Y for the 5th birthday of my son because the cover of that onw look more fiersome. But when picking it up (pre-ordered) I just couldn't resist...and bought X for myself too. So yesterday I witnessed my first pokemon batlle with my son....couldn't have guessed that one some 16/17 years ago.

Finally beaten...32 hours. And lots more to play before 100%. Wonderful, crazy, over the top and truly unique. Must have for every open minded videogame lover.

I really really loved playing through this game. It's a gamersgame.... Gamejournalists just had a quick run through but trying to achieve better runs is so much fun.! I'm sure almost no journalist completed it fully and maybe only as a quick runthrough...which is a shame, resulting in a 7,4 metacritic...Which itself is still good.

The 12 hours playthrough comments are RIDICULUS. I spend more than 32 and skipped a lot of stuff.also, the 'this is another Pikmin game' could not be further from the truth.

Famitsu rewarded that with 38/40, it has Robots, shootmup levels and lots of crazy stuff.....this is a loveletter to Japanese Arcade style gaming with really fun inputs, and as suchs I really dont understand that Japan sales are soooo slow.

Sometimes the inputs fail or is the goal of a scene not directly evident, thus resulting in game-overs, but your next try will surely be better.

Reaching Pure Platinum takes a lot of time!

I'd rate this game wit a 9,5 for being so much fun, that the negatives are quickly forgotten. Although some other games (GTA5) are more highly appreciated, i'm sure that when we look back in over 10 years we'll think of most games as just another reboot while W101 will stand on its own shoulders.

Oh, and having played this game....I say, Team Wonderful should create the next Starfox! Who's with me?
